Chapter 12

"What.. what are you... Your dead!" I exclaim and Michael grabs my arm.

"Why my dear I am fully alive." He says

"I see that. But we buried you! You were dead!" I shout making Michael cover my mouth.

"Shh Payton." He says removing his hand. My uncle takes a step forward making me grab Michael's arm.

"I see your hanging out with a blood sucker." he smirks and I tighten my grip on Michael's arm.

"And your in a relationship with another..." He starts chuckling. "Didn't your daddy teach you better? "

"My father taught me well. But he also taught me to fight for what I want." I snap and Michael scowls at me but I ignore him.

"What do you want my dear?" he asks

"For you and your dogs to leave my best friend alone." I tell him and he frowns.

"But she killed one of mine." he says

"To protect me." I state and he laughs

"I thought the great Payton could protect her self?" He asks and I clench my jaw.

"She can." I state and he laughs.

"right. That's why she hangs out with Vampires!" he says laughing dryly.

"That is why I hang out with Vampires." I say moving forward holding up my cross bow. I was able to shoot when someone blocked the way grabbing the gun.

Ashton.

"Well hello son." My uncle says and Ashton rolls his eyes.

"Josh." Ashton says turning towards him I peer over his shoulder trying to see over. 

"What has happened to you boy?" he asks and Ashton smirks

"Lots have happened. But I just saved your life so I'm going to take these two and be on my way." Ashton says and before I had time to protest we were back at the house.

"Ashton Fletcher Irwin!" I scowl crossing my arms

"Don't you dare! That was so naive! Payton I can't believe you'd go out there and do that! Do you not get both of you could be dead right now?" He yells making me back up slightly.

"Stop yelling at her Ashton!!!!" Michael says coming up behind me.

"Don't you dare! you are supposed to be protecting her! stopping her from this stuff!" He yells.

"Ashton! Stop!" Kyah yells running out on the porch. By then I had tears in my eyes and I felt like crying. Kyah and Ally made their way over to us.

"If I hear you yell at her one more time Ashton Irwin I swear to god." Shania says appearing in front of me, I take a step back.

"YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF THIS SHANIA! I SHOULD BE YELLING AT YOU!" He yells making me flinch. I had honestly never seen Ashton so mad. He has never yelled at me before, ever.

"SHUT UP!" I scream causing them to look at me in shock. I had tears running down my cheek. I could feel them. Ashton had hurt me..

"Payton." Luke's voice feels my ears I turn around and bury my head in his chest. 

"Payton I'm sorry." Ashton says trying to grab my arm. I flinch and Luke gives him a look saying to back off.

"Leave me alone Ashton." I say turning to him.

"ALL OF YOU LEAVE ME ALONE!!" I yell before running into the woods I wasn't afraid anymore, but I need my mum. I run into I get to the grave yard. I collapse on my mum grave and cry until I couldn't anymore. The last thing I remember is my eyes getting heavy and me giving in to the darkness.
