6. {Cherry Cola}

(Really long chapter)

Cheryl-

I was sitting in the waiting room shaking my leg, I felt like I just couldn't sit still. I felt sick, I needed to know if she was okay, I felt like we've become good friends recently. After enough worrying a doctor finally comes up to us, he has a clipboard, he takes a look at the clipboard before talking.

"You're lucky to have her here when you did, when examining we found an infected cut, it cut very deep into her side, and it wasn't taken care of properly. We think that something got into it deeper causing a shock of pain that had something to do with the unconsciousness. Your friend has recently woken up, she will be able to go home soon. Would you guys like to see her?" He says in a serious tone.

Me and Jughead look at each other, and we both nod at the doctor. We stand up and follow him to a room, we walk into her room and there she was laying in a hospital bed. She was a bit pale but she looked good... healthy I mean.

We walk over to her and she smiles at us.

"Hey guys, did I really just pass out?" She says with a small laugh.

"Yeah some d.ick pushed you into a table, and you just went down. Luckily I was there to help" I say grabbing her hand.

Jughead looked at the hand grabbing then up to Toni and smirked, Toni just shook her head. Then Toni looked back at me and smiled, and I smiled back to her.

"I think I'll be able to leave today" Toni says.

"Thanks good, as long as your better" I say smiling to her.

Jughead looks at his phone then to Toni.

"I'm going to go tell the rest we are aloud to see you, I'm sure they'll come right away" Jughead says while starting to walk away.

"Is your mom coming?" I ask Toni.

"I think so, yeah." She says.

"Okay good... I was so worried about you. I told you that you weren't fine, I knew you needed to come here. I'm not happy how it happened but I'm glad you're here." I say while giving her hand a small squeeze and looking at it.

"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you, I thought I could be strong.. and I wasn't. I should have listened to the prettiest girl I've every known" she says smirking at the last part.

Did she just flirt with me?

Why would she?

Does she like me? But why?

Why am I blushing right now?

I could feel my cheeks start burning so I look away. Luckily Jughead and other serpents walk in, my cheeks aren't red anymore. I was still just shocked she complimented me, but why? She's straight.. isn't she? Maybe she was just being nice. Yeah just being nice. I let go of her hand as everyone was there, it wasn't that I was embarrassed but I didn't need to be by her side with all of her friends there.

I decided to back up away from here so her friends could talk. As I was standing away Jughead walk up to me.

"So, you and Toni. You guys seem close" Jughead hinting to something.

"We are just friends, we became close because she was nice enough to let me stay with her" I scoff at him, then crossing my arms across my chest.

"Well I was just asking, with all the hand holding, and the looks. Are you sure their isn't something more?" Jughead asks staring at me.
