Cheryl-

I woke up next to her, I stared at her just for a few minutes before actually getting up. Just before I did I gave her a small kiss on her forehead, she was so beautiful even when she was sleeping. I knew if I stared forever it would be creepy, but I just didn't ever want to stop staring at her. But I guess a perk of having a girlfriend is being able to stare at her forever and just know that you are the one to call her yours.

I finally sat up, I quickly let out a yawn and a quick stretch. I looked down at my lap where my hands were resting, and I just observed my ringless finger. It looked so pale and empty on my ring finger. I just knew today I would have to ask her about it because I want the promise of us to be fully true from a ring. Like I know you can say a piece of jewelry can have no meaning, but to me it really does. If you say a promise and give me the ring I will believe it, especially from Toni.

After about a minute of just sitting, I got up out of bed and I went to do my morning routine. Get a shower, brush my teeth, do my hair, and of course pick a nice outfit for the day.

As soon as I was finished I walked out of the bathroom, and I saw Toni slowly opening her eyes. Her eyes instantly met back with mine, and I couldn't help but smile at her.

"Good morning," I say to her, slowly approaching the bed.

"Good morning back to you." She says in a raspy morning voice.

I sit on the bed next to her, and she reaches out to grab my hand. She was running her thumb over my knuckles until she looked up to me again.

"So what are we planning today?" She asks.

"Whatever you want, you can choose," I tell her.

"I really don't know, I can take you shopping for a bit. I know you love it, and to just see you happy I'll do it." She does a cute little smirk.

"I would next pass up shopping." I let out a small chuckle.

"But first can we get breakfast, I'm starving." She pouts.

I roll my eyes at her. She didn't need to pout because she was hungry, it was a bit childish.

"We can go if you stop whatever you just did," I say seriously.

"I'm sorry." She juts her lip out.

"It's fine." I give her a kiss on her cheek.

We were almost done shopping, and I somehow managed to buy her so much. I mean she deserves it, and I couldn't wait to see her in some of the items.

I started feeling my phone buzz in my back pocket, so I separated my hand from Cheryl's to grab my phone. It was FP, I of course quickly answered it. He was saying how things have calmed down, and that we could come back whenever we wanted. I was a little surprised it was safe to come back, but I was happy to go back. It was nice in Florida but I missed Riverdale.

"Is everything okay?" Cheryl asks me as I hang up the phone.

"Everything is really good, we get to go back to Riverdale!" I say with a smile.

"Oh. That's good." She looks away.

Why didn't see seem excited? I thought she would be excited to go back.

"What's wrong?" I ask her.

"It's just... I was enjoying here with you. I don't want to go back, I know we have school and all but just spending time with you was so nice." She sighs.

I hold her hand, and I hold it a little tighter.

"Cher you're going to have me either way. We can spend as much time together there, it doesn't matter. It was nice here but we could go on plenty of vacations in the future, I promise." I give her a small smile.
