10. {I Saved You}

Monday

Toni-

All day I just kept thinking about where she could be, or how I could save her. I didn't care what I had to do, I knew I was going to save her. After school I went home, I was going to get ready and go find Veronica and Betty to help, if they wanted. I threw my bag down and I was fast pacing to the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" My mom says behind me.

I look behind me and she was there with her arms crossed.

"I...I need to go." I say putting my hand on the door knob.

"I don't think so. Toni you've been either gone all the time, or with that Cheryl girl. And I remember telling you that I'd rather you home until you're better." She sighs.

"Better? You mean my scratch?" I ask her. I pick up my one side of my shirt to reveal a smaller scar.

"As you can see it's healed." I say putting my shirt back down.

"I have every right to worry about you.." she says looking down.

"Well right now I'm worried about someone." I say crossing my arms across my chest.

"Who?" She says.

"Cheryl." I say taking a few steps forward.

"Of course." She says rolling her eyes then walking away.

"What does that even mean?" I say following her.

"Cheryl this, Cheryl that. We get it Antoinette, you like little miss 'it' girl from the north side. A girl who will just drop you when she's bored of you, north sider and south siders aren't meant to be together." She says getting frustrated.

"Do not call me that! And you don't know her, she wouldn't do that!" I say starting to raise my voice.

"So you're telling me she didn't lie about a party to go meet a boy?" She says starting to use her hands and raising her voice.

"It was one f.uking time, she's not like that!" I still yell.

"You know what, you don't have to leave. You can stay here, I don't even care." Say says finally walking away.

I huff and I walk to the door because I didn't care I was still leaving, but as I was at the door someone grabbed my arm and pulled me back. It was my mom, she pulled me in my room and shut the door.

I punch my wall and I leave a hole in it. I pull out my phone out of my pocket.

Toni:
Stay safe. I'll be with you soon.

After I send the text to Cheryl I pace in my room, I run my hand through my hair and I look around. How could I be so dumb, I have a window. Thankfully my house was only one story, this was a lot easier than I thought. I go to my window and I open the curtain, I was opening the window when my brother comes out of no where.

"Sorry, mom said you can't leave." He says.

I roll my eyes and I slam the window shut.

I lay on my bed and I put my hands on my face. After letting out a huge sigh I sit up and I grab my phone again.

Toni:
I need your guys help.

Jughead:
What's up?

SweetPea:
What's wrong Topaz.

Toni:
I need to save Cheryl, but I'm stuck in my house.

SweetPea:
What can we do?
