19. {Promise Ring}

Toni-

As I was driving my motorcycle with Cheryl holding on tightly, knowing how close I felt with her now, I wanted to get her something that really showed that she's mine. I didn't know what I could get her, but then it clicked. I was going to get her a promise ring. I didn't have a lot of money, but I wanted to buy the best that I could get with what I had.

There was a drag race that Jughead was saying about at pops, so I decided I would go, I don't think Cheryl knows but she will soon enough. I always had fun at these kind of things, and I was always the flag girl. Once we pulled up, and got off the bike Cheryl looked around confused.

"Where are we?" She asks nervously.

"At a race, come on it will be fun." I say grabbing her hand and pulling her with me.

I walk over to where everyone was.

The race was about to start, and I grabbed the flag. But then Cheryl takes it from my hand.

"You know I usually do the honors." I say with a small smirk and laugh.

"Not today cha-cha." She says giving me a wink.

I look at her and shake my head, but kept the smile on my face.

She went in between the cars and waved the flag. And d.amn did she look hot doing it. I guess she noticed because she walked over to me with a smirk.

"You're drooling." She says.

"Ha..Ha.. you're funny." I say sarcastically, pulling her hips into me.

"After we leave here can we go to Betty's, and then we can go visit Nana Rose." She asks putting her arms around my neck.

"Yeah of course. How is she?" I ask.

"She's better, the nursing home is taking good care of her. At least from what I heard." She says.

"I'm glad to hear that, I can't wait to meet her again." I say giving her a small smile

"When are you ready to go?" She asks.

"I guess we can go now." I say to her.

I quickly just went to say bye to everyone, and after that I drove us to the coopers house.

We just spent time with the babies and they were really cute, and Cheryl was really cute with them. She was careful with them, and I couldn't stop staring at her with a a baby. I knew one day she would be a great mother.

Once we were done at the coopers, we went to the nursing home her nana was at. She hasn't seen her in awhile so I knew she was excited about seeing her, I didn't know what I was going to say to her but I was just happy being there with Cheryl.

Once we arrived we went to the front desk, where a lady told us where we could find her. We then walked to her room, side by side. We entered her room and she looked very excited to see Cheryl, I guess I would be happy to see family too.

"Nana rose!" Cheryl said excitedly to her.

She walked over to her and greeted her a hug. I stayed behind letting them talk, I just fiddled my fingers as I stood there.

"You can come here Toni." Cheryl says with a smile.

I slowly walk over holding my own hand, I then stand right next to Cheryl.

"Hi Mrs. Blossom." I say nervously for some reason.

She reached out and grabbed my hand, wresting another hand on top of it. Her hands were fragile, and soft.
