Cheryl-

I was confused and upset all day about Toni, what did I do wrong? We were fine in the morning, then all of a sudden she's mad at me? Nothing was adding up, and when I saw her in class, or walked past her in the halls, she wouldn't even acknowledge me. At lunch, she sat over with her gang or whatever. I was mainly distracted at lunch, I couldn't stop staring at her, I could only see her back, but it didn't make me any less distracted. Veronica was going on about some party she was having, I agreed to go, just to get out for a bit.

The last bell of the day finally rung, I hurried out of the class I was in. I was just so ready to leave this place called h.ell, today was long enough. As I was about to walk out of the school, I thought about where I was going? I really hoped I would be going home with Toni, but when I went to we're her bike was parked, it wasn't there. I decided to just go up to who ever I saw, and the first person I saw was Reggie.

"Hey Reg." I say walking up to him.

"Bombshell, you're looking very gorgeous today." He says smirking.

I roll my eyes and I smirk back at him.

"Where are you going?" I ask him.

"I was gonna go to pops." He says.

"Would you like some company?" I say biting my bottom lip.

"Let's go, blossom!" He says walking to his car.

We got to his car and he drove us to pops, we got inside and sat at a booth. He sat on the same side as me, and he put his arm around me. I actually felt uncomfortable, I didn't want him on me.

"What would you like baby girl?" He looks at me.

"Uh... can I just have a strawberry milkshake." I say awkwardly.

"Sure thing." He winks.

He gets up and goes over to pop, to place our order. As he was there I grabbed out my phone.

I miss you..

I texted Toni, I knew she wouldn't text but I still tried.

He brought me over my milkshake, and he sat down right next to me again. I honestly just wanted to go, but Reggie would never let me. I mainly played with the straw, more than drinking it. Then I heard the bells of pops open, it was a Friday, and pops was packed. It could be anyone, but of course I always hopped for one person to be here. I snapped my head to look who it was, and it was just Betty and Veronica. They spotted us and walked over.

"Hey guys." Veronica says sliding in the other side of the booth with Betty.

"Hey V." I say giving a faint smile.

She looks at me confused, then she mouths "Reggie?" To me.

I just slowly nod my head. And she just raises her eyebrows and mouths "wow".

She decides to say something about her this time.

"Where's Toni?" She asks.

"Uh..I-I don't know? Home?" I stutter.

"Figured you would be here with her." She says looking interested.

"I don't always have to be with her? Were not a thi...." I start saying.

But then it hits me, she kept repeating 'not a thing' and I didn't get it, but now I do. She must of heard me in the lounge, why the f.uk would I say that.

"You okay?" Veronica says looking at me weird.

"I have to go." I say rather fast, then I scoot over Reggie to get out of the booth.
