I was sitting outside in the park with my sketchbook in my hand. To be correct I was sitting on top of a picnic table. Sitting on the seat was Dalton. A day ago he had brought me out for some fancy dinner.

'So you decided to go out to a park to let tensions ease from the vampires. And the park was the way to go.' 'It's peaceful out here. As if there isn't insane vampires and Forsaken.' My eyes shifted to Dalton who was working on a study guide from his classes.

We had some exams coming up. And study guides had been passed out, I'd get to mine later. Right now I just felt like sketching. And I was so not sketching Dalton. Not at all. He wasn't in the perfect position for me to sketch him, not at all.

The leaned forward position with his hair falling at just the right angle. His gaze being very focused on the papers giving that serious look that came out here and there. He just had the perfect pose. 'And it's quite evident that you are sketching him since you just described him.'

I looked at the paper. Like Satan said Dalton was right there. The professor was going to kill me with all these portraits. Dalton just always seemed to be there. And tended to be the perfect model. I looked at the sketches of the portraits that I had been doing. Practically all of them were Dalton.

I had exactly one of a self portrait. But most were Dalton and then boom I found one of Lyric with Derik. Sketching, drawing, painting, all of that came natural to me. I didn't think about it, I just did it. But right now my mind liked the Dalton portraits.

It's a very good thing no one looks at my sketchbooks. 'Yet. I do believe Nico thought you two should do some sketches together and compare. And have Angel watch so she can compare as well.' Damn it. Wait. I can just fill another sketchbook up and show it off.

Yeah that sounded like a really good idea. Just buy another sketchbook and fill it with some nice sketches. Maybe some forests, wolves, birds, a few portraits that weren't Dalton. As this one had quite the amount of Dalton portraits. And some Ash portraits, but you know Ash was a wolf.

And animals make awesome portraits. 'You just called Ash an animal.' 'Well he's a wolf and a wolf is a canine, and a canine is a carnivore and a carnivore is an animal. We are all animals. Well mammals.' 'I'm not, was one. But now I am a demon.'

I shrugged before glancing at Dalton as I went to shading in his hair with charcoal. Charcoal was my preferred drawing tool when sketching. Of course I always had colored pencils when it came to eyes. That splash of color was just very attractive in my opinion. Especially blue eyes.

And Dalton's eyes and of course Andrew's eyes were fun to color. The light crystal blue with the golden flecks was very nice to draw. I glanced back at Dalton who in response looked up. "Yes Isabella?" Dalton asked his lips tugging up into this small smile as I stared at him.

'Oh! You got caught red handed while staring at him.' 'Simply making sure that I caught all his features in the picture.' 'Nope you were checking him out, even Dalton probably knows that.' "What?" I asked trying to play dumb. "You keep on looking at me, is there something on my face?" Dalton asked.

"No."

"You just admiring me then? If you are that's very flattering." Dalton responded. "I am sketching you for my portraits class as you are the only person around, and the pose you were doing was nice." I said bending some of the truth. Dalton's gaze flickered up to my sketchbook.

"Your doing portraits. . . again?" Dalton asked. "The professor loves portraits." I responded. 'Well that is true, it's like his favorite thing to do and he loves making you guys do them.' I don't mind doing them either. They aren't that hard to do either so I really don't mind them.
