SAMs POV****
I woke up and looked at the clock, it was 1:00pm. I slept longer than I thought. I got up and did my usual things. I went downstairs into the kitchen, why is the house so quiet? I thought to myself, I shrugged my shoulders and ate my cereal. When I finished I heard a bang, but after that it sounded like glass broke... From upstairs. I ran and grabbed the closest thing to me which was a frying pan.
I made my way up the stairs, listening for any noise, I turned the corner when someone spoke.
"Lu..." before he could finished I turned around with the frying pan and whacked him in the head screaming.
"Owhhh.!!! Hey what was that for Luna!" the guy asked rubbing his head.
"OMG!! I am so sorry!! I thought you were a kidnapper!!!" I yelled looking at his head. He looked at me for a second before busting out laughing.
"Y'You thought I'I was a K'Kidnapper!! Hahahahahah!!" he said trying to breath
"Yea. Yea, laugh it up. But if someone tries to kidnap you don't come looking for me or my pan." I said while twirling the pan around. I took a look at this guy, he had brown short hair, with hazel eyes.
"Anyway what's your name?" I asked
"Dalton, Dalton Fay." He said shaking my hand
"We'll Dalton, my name is Sam, Sam Green." I said the way he did.
"Well Sam I have a feeling were going to be good friends." He said smiling.
"And I agree." I said and not even 30 minutes later were goofing of like we've known each other for years. Me and Dalton were in the living room playing 20 questions when Rider and the others came in.
"Hey Rider. What have you guys been up to?" I asked
"Just running patrol." he said sitting next to me giving me a kiss.
"How was your day?" He asked
"Very strange, you know Dalton?" I asked pointing to him.
"Of course, he's my best tracker." he said
"Dalton!! You didn't tell me!." I said faking being shocked.
"You never asked." He replied
"What ever." I said turning back to Rider.
"Anyway I was alone downstairs eating breakfast, when I heard noises from up stairs. So I grabbed the closest thing to me, it was a frying pan. I walked up the stairs. I turned the corner when someone spoke which by the way scared the crap out of me!!! So I swung the pan and hit Dalton in the face with it." After I said that Rider busted out laughing, along with Luke, Noah and some other people I don't know.
"You got hit by a girl with a frying pan!!" Luke yelled.
"Yes, I didn't know she had it in her hands!!" Dalton said defending himself.
"Don't worry Dalton, some people are just stronger than others." I said
"Yea." Trev said coming in the room.
"When we were little Trev, Sam, Cheyenne, Anna and I, would always go at it, we we're all better than one person in different things." Ash said
"I was good at tracking." said Cheyenne
"I was running." Trev said
"Ash and I were always a tie with fighting, we would never back down." Anna said sitting down.
"What about Sam?" Rider asked. Nobody spoke, the girls wanted me to say it. I wasn't conferrable around the 5 people I didn't know that came in. But if I ever want to be me again, I have to try.
"I was Hearing." I said looking up to everyone.
"What do you mean by hearing?" somebody asked
"I can hear better than the others." I said, I could what they don't know is that I have the best hearing a shifter can ever have.
"She has great hearing! When we were little Sam would spend the night at my house without telling my parents, and she could hear the whole conversation they were having!" Ash said
"Any of us could hear that." the same guy that asked the other question before said. I was getting tired of this guy! I already had a headache when he walked in.
"Listen, I just had the best hearing out of my friends. That means someone else can have better hearing than me so quit talking!! I yelled. All of them bowed their heads. Except for Rider, and the guy that I yelled at said yes luna and walked out. I got of the couch and went upstairs into my room and laid down on the bed. Someone opened the door and I knew it was Rider. I was laying on my stomach my face in a pillow. I felt him sit on the edge of the bed. I got up and looked at him
"Listen I'm sorry, I just went off like that, I had a headache and I'm not good at being nice when it comes to my past." I said
"Sam, I understand and that was amazing." He said. I stared at him like he's gone mad
"Amazing? How was that amazing?" I asked
"Sam, you just showed how your the Luna of this pack, did you not see how they bowed their heads showing respect! And the guy that you yelled out bowed his head in submission! That was amazing Sam!!!" He screamed
"Really?" I asked
"Yes really!!" He replied
