Sorry about the wait guys, I had to go to a dentist appointment. And it turns out Tuesday I have to get a tooth pulled. So I have to take medicine that makes me, we'll not me. Then they said I will be in pain for a coupe of days and I will sleep most of the time. I will try to update a lot before Tuesday. Oh, and by the way I hit 1.1K this is amazing, thanks for following me and reading the book. I Hope u like this chapter
Sam's POV
I woke up and looked over at Rider, he was sleeping. I cuddled closer into him enjoying the warmth.
"Sam" a voice said, I looked around and didn't find anyone. I shrugged it off thinking it was all in my head. I got out of Riders grip and went into the bathroom, to do my morning routine. When I got out Rider was still sleeping. I smiled and went to him
"Hey, hey Rider wake up."I said He moaned and rolled over
"5 more minutes." He said.
"If you don't get up, I'll make you get up." I said. He just went back to sleep
"Fine." I said and walked downstairs, I got a bucket, and filled it with cold water then I put some ice in it. I was on my way back up when Luke passed me. He gave me a look then eyed the bucket
"Rider won't get up." He nodded
"I'm not getting into this one." He said and left. I made my way to the room and walked over to Rider. He looked so peaceful... o well. I poured the bucket on him and ran.
"SAM!!!!" He screamed, I ran all the way to the kitchen and grabbed some flour. He ran into the kitchen and I threw the flour in his face. Making it stick because his face was wet.
"Owh, it's on." he said with a smirk. Before I could run he grabbed me by my waist and picked me up.
"Hey Rider, you can put me down now."'I asked
"No thanks Sam, I'm enjoying the view." he said smacking my butt. I gasped and brung my hand up and smacked his ass so hard he flew forward landing on his face. I jumped off the ground and ran into a room.
"Ummm, Luna what are you doing in my room?" A voice said. I looked at the bed and spotted a guy around 16 he had blonde hair that flips to the left. He had brown eyes with his lip pierced.
"I was just running from Rider, what's your name?" I asked
"Umm, I'm James." He said quietly
"Well I'm Sam, I guess you already new that."I said smiling at him. He just blushed. AWWHH he's the shy type I thought.
"I've never seen you around before." I said.
"Ummm yea, people don't really talk to me that much. So I don't hang out with anyone." he said in a Whisper.
"Well that's about to change, your looking at a new friend." I said smiling
"Really?" He asked I nodded and walked over to his bed. 5 minutes later Rider came in with a red nose. He walked over to me and hugged me.
"You alright Rider?" I asked.
"You weren't answering my calls, I thought you got taken." He said
"It's alright I was just talking to James." Rider looked at James and growled
"Mine." he said pulling me closer. James put his hands up showing he understands.
"Yours." I said smiling at him.
"I want to talk to you." Rider said being serious. I gave him a confused look but nodded and walked with him to his office. He sat on the couch and I sat next to him. We stayed in silence for 5 minutes and it was driving me crazy.!
"Just out with it Rider!"
"Viper started a war against us." He said waiting for my reaction.
"A war?" I whispered. I looked at him
"I don't want people to get hurt because of me." I said
"They won't, we have strong members that will do anything for there Luna. And other packs will help us. Don't worry Sam." He said
"You don't understand Rider!" I yelled standing up feeling anger and fear go through me.
"I know what he can do! I've lived through it for years!" I yelled again. Rider got up and looked down at me while I looked up at him. Man he was a lot taller then me, I thought.
"That's right Sam you Lived through it, you didn't die." He said calmly. I shook my head.
"I Won't let anyone get hurt because of me. They have family's to take care of. I don't have a family anymore, so he can't hurt me! I have no one in my life that I care for!" I said without thinking. Rider looked down at me. I saw his eyes at first I saw tears but they went away and was placed with anger. I realized what I said and felt guilty.
"Rider I didn't mea...." I was cut off by Rider who looked pissed.
"You don't care for anyone Sam! What about the pack, your suppose to love and care for them! I thought you cared for all of us! I guess I was wrong. You'll just always be a rouge with trust issues. What? Didn't daddy ever tell you to trust your own mate." He snapped, his eyes softened when he heard what he said.
"Sam I.. " I cut him off when a slapped echoed the whole room, I gave him a hard mean glare.
"Daddy would of told me, but he got murdered before he could." I spat looking at him and his red cheek. I turned around and walked out the door slamming his office door so hard it cracked, I ran to my room shutting the door and running into the bathroom locking it, I sat down and let the tears fall, not stopping them. I heard a knock on the door.
"Sam please I didn't mean to, I snapped I wasn't thinking I'm so sorry. Please let me in." Riders voice said with worry and fear. I didn't answer and let the tears out quietly. Then I started to remember that night when they attacked us, a sob escaped my lips. I started rocking back and fourth trying to forget everything.
"Sam please, please I'm sorry. Please don't cry." Rider said
"Leave me Alone!!" I screamed at him. He got the message and left.
Rider's POV*****
"Why do I have to be so fucking stupid." I said putting the ice pack on my cheek.
"Well you shouldn't of lost control,."
Luke said walking into the kitchen. I glared at him.
"You heard us?" I asked after he didn't flinch from my glare.
"Dude I wouldn't be surprised if China heard you." He said. I groaned and touched my cheek flinching from the pain.
"She might of broke a bone." Luke said
"I didn't mean to say what I did. I just got so angry." I said
"Rider she tried to say sorry but you wouldn't let her." He said.
"She did?!" I said. He nodded his head. "All I saw after she said those words were anger. I should of controlled it." I said
"Don't worry man, she'll forgive you. Just give her time." Luke said to me then turned to leave.
"God, please forgive me Sam" I whispered to myself. Putting the ice pack back on my bruised cheek.
