Vipers POV
"Do you have her ready?" I asked my beta.
"Yes, Alpha." He said
"Good, we will leave in a couple of minutes." I said
"Yes, alpha." He said then left. Today will be great.
SAMs POV****
I told Rider I felt better today, I did just a little though. I'm now waiting in the bathroom. 5 minutes have passed and I'm scared to look. I took a deep breath and picked up the test.
"Positive." I whispered..... I'm pregnant. The last time Rider and I did it was a week or 2 ago, shifters have children faster. So I will show soon. If they have Alpha blood, the pregnancy will be faster. I will only carry the pup for 5 months. This is the worst time to be pregnant, the war is coming. I don't know what to do. I have to tell Rider, I just don't know how he'll take it. We haven't talked about having pups yet. I sighed and went downstairs, Thunder ran to me barking.
"Hey boy." I said patting his head. Thunder sniffed my belly and whinnied.
"You know." I whispered and looked him in the eyes. He stuck his tongue out and barked. I put my shoes on and opened the door, Thunder came out with me. I saw Rider in the yard talking to a child. I waited until the kid ran off, I went up to him.
"Rider, can we take a walk." I said. He looked at me, he knew something was wrong by my voice. He nodded and took my hand.
"So when do you think Viper will attack?" I asked
"I don't know, but we will be ready. Packs close to us have agreed to help." He said, I nodded. We walked in silence for a bit, I was about to speak when I smelt something, it smelt like someone I use to know.
"Do you smell that Rider?" I asked. He sniffed and frowned.
"I don't smell anything Sam." He said
"Come on." I said following the smell. It led to a small meadow. In that meadow was Viper and his Pack. Rider put me behind him and growled. I mind linked the whole pack.
"Vipers pack is here, take the women and children to safety the others who want to fight come to the small meadow." There were a lot of yes Luna's.
"I have someone you would like to see Sam, come with me and I will let your mother go." He said and I glared at him.
"My mother is dead, the hunters killed her." I said stepping beside Rider.
"That's where your wrong, MY hunters killed your father and not your mother." He said
"You're Lying!" I screamed. The whole pack was behind us now. It was an even fight, Viper raised his hand and one of his warriors dragged a women's bloody body beside him. She looked up into my eyes and I saw the same green eyes that hugged me at night, the same eyes that always showed happiness but now that happiness was gone, they were full of tears
"Mom." I whispered.
"Sam." she said and her voice cracked.
"Don't listen to him Sam don't do anything!!." She screamed.
"Shut up!" Viper yelled and slapped her. I growled loud for everyone to know I was pissed.
"Touch her again and I won't hesitate to kill you!" I said stepping closer, Rider grabbed my arm. Viper smirked and grabbed my mom by the hair an yawned her up, he put a knife on her neck.
"Stop!!" I screamed. "Stop!!" Viper smiled
"Just come with me, and I'll let her go." He said and I stepped closer.
"Sam!" Rider said gripping my arm tighter.
"Do you trust me?" I asked through are mate bond
"Yes, but what are you doing?" He asked
"When I say attack you do it, no matter what he does you attack." I said
"Ok Sam, I trust you. I love you." He said
"I love you to Rider."' I said and walked forward.
"Let her go." I said to Viper, I was a coupe feet from him. He put the knife down and shoved my mom to me. I hugged her, she hugged me back crying.
"Mom go to my pack, you'll be safe go now." I said
"No Sam I won't."'She said. I shook my head and shoved her to Luke. He grabbed her and she struggled, Luke nodded to me and I nodded back. Viper grabbed my arm.
"If anyone of you follow us, I'll kill you and Sam." He spoke, they all glared at Viper. He dragged me back to his pack, I counted to 3 in my head.
1, I thought and inhaled some air.
2, I thought and exhaled bringing my foot back a little.
3! I screamed in my head and kicked Viper in the balls.
"Attack!" I screamed and that's when the bloody war started.
Chapter 24!!!! What's going to happen next! I will give you a hint, someone close to Sam will die.!?!?!
