|NINE| Sebastian
"WHERE IS THE DAMN CHARGER?" Sebastian muttered to himself, as he shoved things about in Lionel's semi untidy room. He swore he saw the Charger two days ago with the exact familiar basketball sticker that Raven had showed him. He had stumbled across the charger while hanging out with Lionel and the basketball team over the weekend.
But now he couldn't find it. Where could Lionel have hid it already? He wondered as he heard the front door slam shut, he quickly jump on Lionel's bed, picking up the remote that was laying carelessly on his unspread bed. He flick the television to a random channel as he heard voices coming closer to Lionel's room. The hush conversation was stop once they saw him on Lionel's bed.
"Hey Seb," he greeted him as he slip his back pack of his back.
"Hey," he greeted him without wavering his voice to let him look guilty, Sebastian flicker his gaze to Sean who was starring at him weirdly. Looking upset like he did something wrong to piss him off. Sean was a lean guy, six feet tall. He had low cut hair, a wide mouth and a mysterious yet dangerous aura brewing off him.
"Hey Sean," Sebastian called to him, He simply lifted his head in acknowledgement as he step into Lionel's room, discarding of his bag too onto the back of the door knob.
"What did Raven want?" Lionel asked, kicking of his shoes.
"She wanted to know if I had put something in her car," giving Lionel the half truth.
"I'm surprised she didn't lay a hand on you, during lunch." Sean stated surprised. Something about Sean put him on the edge whenever he was a round. He couldn't put his finger on it but there was something odd about him. He seems cool when he first met him but over the years he have grown attach to follow Lionel everywhere he went. According to the guys he didn't get along with Max for reason unknown to everyone.
"I think lover boy here is rubbing off on the ice queen." Lionel chuckled.
"she's okay-" Sebastian said eyeing his cousin giving him the signal that they don't prolong the conversation. He had told him once that he didn't like Sean and he only tolerate him because he was friend with him. " I am going to get a Gatorade, Do you want one Lionel?" he asked starring at Lionel who was busy shoving things to the corner of his room.
"No Dude, I'm good." Lionel answered. He shift his gaze to him and he shook his head before heading out the door into the hallway. Sebastian skid forward and got up off the bed as cellphone vibrated. He reach for his phone; glance at his phone to see it was a message from LB.
It reads;
Meet me at Oak Park in an hour.
L.B.
He slip his phone back into his pocket and reach for his Timberland booth. "Going somewhere?" Lionel asked. "Just going to meet a friend." he answered.
"What's your deal with LB, You know he's bad news." Lionel said, stripping himself of Eddington High grey and white Jersey T-Shirt. "We're somewhat of a convenient friends with few benefits." he stated. Lennox Baxter and he went way back, Lionel wouldn't understand since he and Lennox haven't said words to each other since they fought in pre-school and Lennox came the next day with his cousins to beat Lionel to pulp, who were at the seniors.
He didn't know, he had to face Lennox wrath when he dated his sister back then. It was a struggle to please the dude unfortunately he and Freya wasn't meant to be, so things were just left simmered between them. "It's just weird how you get along with some people," Lionel muttered as he pulled on a T-Shirt.
