SIX | -Raven

Someone picked up the piece of book leaf Raven have thrown in the classroom bin. It was unscrambled as they read what was written on the page:  Who killed Maximus Sanguine?  was written in all cap letters at the top of page with a red line drawn under it numerous times, stating the importance.  My Suspect list  was scribbled underneath the title. Two lines was left to create space between the title and  the subtitle  as she have written a list of four  names below in bullet point structure.

Lionel Montez  was on top of the list, followed by Chief Armstrong, Sean Combs and it ended with Erica Dunn the Captain of  cheerleader Squad. If they could speak to Raven they could let her know she was on the right path but investigating her brother death was dangerous route she was venturing on because what Maximus knew  wasn't enough to save him  but somehow it was enough save the few of us he manage to get out of that place. The sound of footsteps could be heard coming into The Wire  office. The person quickly crumbled up the paper and stuff it into their hoodie pocket right next to Maximus Cellphone, That Raven will received at the end of the day. Slipping the hoodie down in their face they follow the crowd and head out into the cool evening air to see Raven dashing towards her brother car along with Sebastian Hasting threading behind her.

The School bell as just sounded, signally that school was  over as Raven climb into her car. She tossed her book bag on the passenger seat of her car, she slip the key into the ignition as she reach out and shut the door. Just as she was about to pulled her seat belt on her passenger side of the door was pulled open and Sebastian climb in uninvited. You got to be kidding me!  She thought as she glare at him.

"What the fuck dude?" she blurted out shocked.

"Good day to you beautiful." he smiled that smiled of his.

"Get Out!" she snap at him.

"No," he simply replied placing her book bag onto her lap.

"I'm not really in the mood to deal with you now, So I suggest you get out of my car." She threaten him but he just stare at her. "No," he simply replied again.

"Um-" She tries to remembers his name.

"Sebastian-" he reminded her

"Sebastian Hasting."  He introduce himself again.

"Whatever your name is,Get out of my car." she shook her head annoyed that Sebastian was getting on her nerve. "For the last time No!" he stated firmly.

"What do I have to do to get you out of my sight forever?" She asked.

"Go on a date with me," he grin. Raven laugh out causing a few students stare over in their direction. She push her head of curls out of her face as she laugh at him.

      "Hell No!" she laugh.

"Why not?" he asked.

"Because I don''t want to and I don't know you." she answered.

"I think that's the sole purpose of dating someone." he smiled at her.

"I'm not interested in getting to know you." she stare at him, He had on a deep blue T-Shirt with a pare of faded Jeans, with a pair of blue and black sneakers. His low cut hair, fits him so well which cause his hazel colored eyes to glisten in the sunlight that was starring to give an orange glow through the sky.

"You'll regret it." he lean into her with a smile.

"No I won't, " She pipe out as she started the engine of her car, he reach over and pulled it out.

"Give me back my keys!" she snap at him as he open the door and slip out slamming it shut, before peering into the car through the window.

" When your ready, Come and get it," he grin as he walk away, stuffing the keys into his pocket as he walked over to Lionel and his teammates. Her phone chimed as a message came in.

         It reads;

I found something. Where are you?

She glance at Sebastian leaning against his bike, with a smirk on his lips. She reach for her bag on the back seat, She got out and slam the door shut. She glare at him before she storm over at Special Agent Mario Ferguson car, Who had been following her since he got here. She tap on his window and he wind it down.

"I need  a ride," she stated obviously.

"What happen to your car?" he asked, starring a head at Sebastian.

"I'll deal with that matter later, I just need a ride." she gritted as she walked around his car, she  pulled the passenger side of the car door open as she climb in. Shutting the door she inhale the scent of Coffee and Clover's Pastries. "Drop me off at Louisville Pizza Cub." she instructed as he eye the boys starring at them. He started his car and head out of parking lot.

"Here is fine." she said picking up her bag.

"And do me favor stop stalking me," She said as she climb out of the vehicle.

"No can do, It's apart of my job." he stated.

"What with you men not listening when someone talk, it's starting to get on my freaking nerve." She muttered as she stare at him.

"Who are you specifically talking about?" he uttered, glancing into his mirror situated in the center of the car. "Is it about the boy that you were talking to earlier?" he asked with a grin.

"I don't know what you talking about." she stated as she slap the window of her car and hurried into the Pizza place.  She walked into Cub, she scan the room until her gaze landed on a guy dress in leather Jacket and rip Jeans. She walked over to guy taking a deep breathe she sat on the unoccupied stool next to him.

"Anonymous43," she uttered out so that he could hear. He didn't answer he just slip an envelope towards her. She quickly picked it, she open it to see a photo of a girl in a grey hoodie, stepping out of the brother car. Her brother black hoodie was covering her face. "This isn't what I ask for?" Raven snap.

"It's what I was offered, That's the only angle the source could give." he whispered, sipping his beer. "Well at least it's a start." she muttered as she stare at the photo of a girl dropping of her brother's car.

"Yeah, now pay up." he stated. She reach into her pocket to received fifty bucks, she slip it across the counter into the peanut bowl he was eating in, before she got up to clock in and start her shift. She walked into employee room to find it deserted as she took out the photo to examine the photo much more closely. She didn't recognized the girl but she recognize the hoodie since she was the one who brought it for him last year in Louisville.

"Why was some girl dropping her brother's car off?" she wondered as she realized she was in one of those Eddington High basketball Jersey short. And there it was again it all link back to the basketball ball team. It always does and she wasn't going to stop until she get the truth.

Her brother deserved a peaceful rest and something tells her there was more than some stupid suicidal attempt. He was murdered.
