THIRTEEN| Raven

             RAVEN pulled the locker open as a slight dusty scent hit her in the face. She cringe her face as she pull the heap of debris and old school newspaper out of the old locker. She didn't even knew that locker was situated this far into the girls locker room since she always dodge Physical Education Class ever since she knew she didn't have the strength to throw a ball or even stretch a muscle. That was Maximus thing.

Just as she threw the debris and old newspaper out, her gaze landed on a medium size Ziploc bag. She picked it up, not taking it out of the confinement of the locker. Inside was a small red notebook, Another Ziploc bag, It was much smaller and had three light blue pills inside along with a bunch of paper folded and stuff into the left side of the bag.

Max what did you get into?

Raven wondered as the sound of girls walking bursting into the bathroom. She quickly stuff the Ziploc bag into bag, slamming the locker shut as she heads towards the crowd of girls giggle and chattering with each other. A few of the girls flicker there gaze into her direction, but she ignore their gaze and went on way out of the bathroom. Just as she vacated the room she bumps into Aaliyah James.

"Hey Raven," She smiled at her, but scowl at her in disgust. Aaliyah was the girl who had a huge crush on her brother when we first came to Louisville, she was obsess with seeing and tormenting the life out of me. Trying to understand why Max wouldn't show her any interests and to save her the embarrassment and the reputation she upheld she promise her brother she wouldn't say anything to her about why he wasn't into her like she expected.

"Not in the mood for a conversation Aaliyah." she gritted as she step away but Aaliyah block her causing the other girls to walk around them except her friends. "Well I am; how are you?" Aaliyah asked with a smirk. "And you care why?" Raven stare at her, she had on her signature Jeans skirt which was showing too much legs with pink Rhinestone line out around the pockets with her Pink Tank top and Jeans Jacket with her Pink Wedge.

"Max was my heartbeat and it would hurt him in his grave if I didn't check up on you." She stated. "I'm sorry are you a nurse?" Raven asked sarcastically as she cross her hand across her chest. "Does it matter?" Aaliyah asked.

"I got to go," Raven gritted out.

"Rumour has it that your sleeping with that hot FBI guy. Is it true?" Aaliyah stated.

"Are you Jealous?" Raven asked stepping towards her. "-That someone is actually interested in me. We all know Max just pitied you." Raven smirk, Anger flash through her chocolate eyes.

"No I'm not Jealous, I have Sebastian wrapped around my finger." She snaps back, as butterflies flutter in her stomach at the sound of his name. "Great he's yours." Raven regretted saying those words.

"No I am not," Sebastian appear behind her, throwing his arm around her shoulder. She shrugged it off. "Aaliyah I told you, you're not my type, were just friends." Sebastian told her.

"She's not even girlfriend material," Aaliyah blurted, glaring at me.

"And-" But Sebastian covered her mouth and she reluctantly stood still.

"She won't even last." she said.

"Aaliyah I suggested go before I believe before I let her deal with you and we both know she isn't afraid to rip you." Sebastian glares at her as he led her away from the girl's locker room towards a row of locker, pushing her against a couple lockers as he barricades her. Raven took a deep breath as she tries to keep from breaking Max's Promise. "How you doing beautiful?" Sebastian question, smiling down at her.

"I'm peachy," she answered starring up into his beautiful hazel eyes.

"Where did you sleep last night?" he question.

"Where I slept was ok. I just miss my car." she told him honestly.

"I went by your apartment, but I was told you haven't been there since Max-" she stops at her brother name. "You really need to quit stalking me," she shoved his hand away.

"I was worried about you." he pulled her into his chest wrapping his arms around her but she push away and he pulled her back into him before releasing her swiftly. She pushed a strand of curls behind her ears as she bit her bottom lip. "Chief came to my house last night," He told her and she stare up at him.

"What did he want?" Raven asked.

"He said he has suspicion I am lying and it's wrong to lie to a federal officer, Yada yada." he stated, smiling at her.

"You didn't tell him anything about my brother's stuff missing?" She asked.

"Nope, I twisted up the entire interview asking him if he had anything on my sister and he kept saying young girls these days run away from home." he said stuffing his hand in his pocket.

"Typical Chief Armstrong work, dictating what he assumes is the answer." She shrugged his shoulder as Lionel and Sean along with other members of walked up to them with black boxes in their hand. "You both look like a couple that needs a night to dance and romance away." Lionel smirks at her.

"Get lost loser," Raven snap at him.

"Hey Raven, Nancy Drew took time to date Ned. You should try it." Sean stated starring at them both as Sean handed her a purple envelope as she reach into her back for her Lighter. "Sorry I am a hardly boy fan." she said as she lit the envelope on fire and toss it in the box of invitation that Lionel had in his hand.

"I'll save you one Seb," Lionel said as the guy drop the have burn invitation to the floor as Sean and the others walked over to a group of student to hand out the invitations. Lionel gaze landed on Raven too long for her liking before a couple girls walked up and took a couple envelopes out of the box.

A few screams sounded down the hallway and Raven didn't have to look to see that it was some unlucky girl getting invited to the biggest party of Eddington High, Which always leads to someone missing and Chief Armstrong don't seems to pick up on that. Max had warned her a couple times never to attend these Party and she listen because she knew something was fishy about these party and why it everyone was was invited especially girls in a dozen. "I'll see you after school; we could ride on my bike to meet up with your friend." Sebastian said pulling her out of her thought as she started down the hallway.

"I'll meet you at the gate after school." she said.

"Cool, I'll love to walk with you to class but I have to meet Lennox." he stop before her. Raven nodded and flicker her gaze to her bag as she remembers the Ziploc bag of evidence from Locker 78. "We're not an us, go and get lost." she told him.

"One of these days you're going to be saying 'Bye Babe' instead." he smiled touching her cheeks and she moved her face.

"Not likely." she turned and walked away from him.
