THIRTY-ONE| RAVEN

"Where were you!?" Mario's mother blurted out as soon as she enters the apartment causing her to glare up at the woman. Mario walked into the sitting room as Raven step further into the apartment shutting the door behind her.

"Mom I'll talk to her," Mario stated as she reluctantly steps away, she gave Mario a long sedative glare before walking back into the kitchen. It was like they were having a Private Mother and son conversation that leaves a frustrating look on his face. Raven watch as he runs his hands over his face before turning to her.

"The Principal call today." He told, Which was no surprised. Since she has completely raided the boy's locker room like an FBI on a drug raid. If it wasn't for Lionel and Daria she would have been still sitting in the principal's office. "It's nothing new. the only difference is that they call you instead of Mr. Nonage." She slips her bag on the sofa as she reaches for the pack of gummy bears on the center table.

"Raven you really got to slow down on this rampage of doing things without permission," Mario told her. "Since when did you become so uncool?" She asked staring at him as she sits on the sofa.  Raven kick off her shoes and stare at him. "My mom is on the edge because she heard about the shootout a little away from your school," he said.

"And why does she care about me, I don't even know her." Raven gritted out as Mario stare up across the room towards his mother. " Sometimes the People who care about us without us knowing are the best even if they have their own reason," he said as he picks up the newspaper.

"Sometimes it's an obsession. " Raven voice out.

"Well, in this case, it's different. Just promise me you'll call me next time you decide not to show up home early." He said in a serious tone. "Alright Daddy Will do," she saluted at him before picking up her bag and heading towards her room, as she looks back to see Mario starring up at her with an odd expression.

"Oh, I'll be hanging over at Daria tomorrow after school. Is that okay?" She asked.

"You mean in Lieutenant Armstrong house?" He asked wide-eyed.

" Yep." She said popping the P at the end.

"Hell No," He blurted out.

"And don't you dare tell me it's a girl evening out. I haven't known you, Raven. You don't hang around People you dislike unless it benefits you. So what's the purpose?" Mario stood up.

"Nothing, Daria just wanted me to help her sneak into her father study to get a look on that book we found in the locker room today." SHe told him truthfully with a smile.

"They said they found nothing," Mario said.

"Well, apparently that's a lie because I was the one who found it," she told him.

"Daria said she recognized a few photos in there and I want to connect the photos with names in Max's book," she said. Raven watched as Mario compensate whether he should allow this even though he knew it was dead wrong to allow something like this. "You both know I'm still going to even if you say no," Raven assure him.

"Dinner is ready," His mother called out.

"We'll talk about this later, Go and wash up and come for dinner." He told her firmly which she reluctantly did as his cellphone blasted and he went out on the balcony. Raven walked into her room to find a package on her bed. She looks up to see her window open. Didn't she close the window? . She walked over to see her name scribbled on the yellow envelope. She picked it up and open it to see it was the book that she found earlier in Boys Locker Room.

It was leather Brown and had a paper tape stick onto it with Ryn written in Cap letters. she opens it to see ripped book leave on the inside it was noted address to her.

    Raven,

No Need to rampage the Chiefs humble adore. I got everything written in this book and the photos of every innocent they have ripped apart and since Max told me you are the only one I can Trust. I'll trust you'll keep this safe Until then.

                                                      RYN

Raven turn over the paper to see a familiar photo but this time she could see they face. It was a photo of Max, Ryn and Herself sitting on the wall while their mother was seated below their feet as she smiles up at us. How comes she doesn't remember much about this outing. It was like she was in the dark while everyone else was in the light. Max knew and he didn't tell her. Why? She wondered as she sat on the bed starring the photo with such intensity and pain.

Everything seems to be coming together and it was more puzzling than before. Deep down Raven knew that somehow she's connected to this whole thing on another level it was driving her insane. Could Ryn really be her Sister? And who was out to get her? Wasn't her brother death enough?. Those question rammed into her head as she slips the note inside the book and tosses it under her pillow as she took the picture and heads over to her own bulletin board.

She thumbtacks the photo the section that had Ryn name with a question mark and that's when she realized that Ryn and Her had the same facial structure but she had straighter hair while she carried her own in a mass of curls like her mothers. People always mistake her for her mother ever since she got here and it was somewhat draining and shocking to her.

And that's when she realized Someone really hates the Sanguines.

She won't back down until she figures out who cause  Ryn to be in hiding and Who took their brother from her. Even if it was the last breathe she took. She won't back down.
