TWENTY |PART ONE | RAVEN
"I finally figure it out," Sebastian blurted out as he drops himself into the booth where she was sipping a watermelon smoothie with her Literature notebook open with her laying vertically across the book. Raven stare up at him, as she watches him reaches into his bag for his huge biology textbook.
She watches as he held the book by the spine and flip the pages until they both saw a book leaf that he took out and slips it on top of her notebook. Raven picks it up and she realized that it was his handwriting and it was his sister suicide note. "Did you really write over your sister suicide note?" she question staring at him in disbelieve even though the evidence of what he has done was there in her hand.
"Yes," He answered taking the paper from her hand as he lay it flat on the table pushing her books to the center of the table. Raven look was down to see that he had drawn a rectangle around few words the kind Max would do when he was doing his Find-The-Words puzzles.
"My mother words keep replaying in my head last night while I was reading over Omenitia's letter inside my room," he started. Raven knew it was what he told her yesterday about his sister delivering a message to his mother saying Not Suicide.
"Then I remember Omenitia and I used to leave secret notes for each other on the fridge about where we were going even though we would lie to Mom and Dad about it. But we were the only one who could read it and know the truth, it used to drive them crazy and I thought maybe that's what she did with her letter. So during Biology, I started to unravel what I could and I figure it out." he said with his hand on the paper.
"That's a sneak ass trick," Raven complimented her.
"When you got too nosy parents you figure out how to get around them." he smiled at her and she shifts her gaze to the paper. "What did you figure out?" she asked as he lifted his hand and started to let her understand the words that he has given a rectangle box around.
"Well for starters I think someone on the basketball time is responsible for her death because she used the letters of Basketball to start every sentence," he said as he pointed at the huge rectangle at the beginning of the paper and Raven realized that Basketball was spelled out at the beginning.
"I think the entire basketball team is shitty so anything is possible." Raven worded out.
" I think they gave her Keflex and Liquor to get her drunk. Omenita was a light head so if she even smell it she laughing like a hyena," he said.
"Also I think they rape her somewhere near a water, for her to mention Tide and muscle in the same line and they gave her something that gave her an allergy reaction because she's allergic to rose. Even though she loves them." Sebastian told her.
"Lizards are my favorite animal and Lemon cake so I think that's what they gave her as her last meal or something because she doesn't really like lemon cake. She always complains that's it taste too sour in her mouth," he said.
"Lizards are creepy," Raven commented.
"And you are telling me you got all that from rewriting the letter?" Raven asked.
"Yep, It was kinda our thing. It's because of Omenita I tolerate English," he confirms honestly.
"I used to hate the subject," he said.
"And how you doing now?" Raven asked amused.
"I scrape through," he smiled at her as she sips her smoothie.
"So what's the message from the last line?" Raven asked as she realized that the last line was rectangle too in a box.
"I think it's a code, anytime we change the password on the computer in the hallway we always scribbled it in our secret note so mom and Dad won't fast in our business," he said.
