21. The Start Of Something

I got home after that event, and realised that I still hadn't opened my present I opened the paper to see a Laptop, a gaming Laptop. there was a note. It said "I didn't know what to get you, so I got you this, my steam name is Bethany282736 Love, Vex" I put the note down

and open the box and a $100 steam card falls out I set it up in my room and get ready to go to Katherine. I finish within 3 hours and start playing games that were pre-downloaded, and I played GTA V online. I made my character look as close to me as I can, all I needed was a suit and a black stain on my tail, I found the server to be peaceful, and I found some people, who offered me a taxi ride, only to find myself stranded on the top of mount chilliad. I got bored after 3 hours, and I made a steam account. I redeemed my card immediately to avoid it being taken, and, with that, I owed Vex big time. $2,699 is the amount, I would have to splurge at the ball to make it up to her. 

I prepped the plane for takeoff. "I can't believe that I am doing this" she said, "don't worry Vex, I won't hurt you, I promise" I said back, "here, take this" I said, handing her a passenger headset. "control tower, this is PK-167 prepped for takeoff, holding" I said. "PK-167, Acknowledged" we both waited for something to come up for us "PK-167, taxi onto runway 4, hold." we waited once again for our number, "PK-167, you are clear for takeoff on runway 4" I pushed the throttle into power 3 increasing my angle of attack, I pulled gently on the yoke and set my radar for Katherine.

While I was flying I experienced turbulence, which caused me to stall, I pulled back on the yoke and put the throttle to five, we managed to make it, but we were flying way too close to the ground, Katherine Airport noticed this and said "PK-167, this is Katherine Airport, you are flying too close to the ground, copy?", "Katherine Airport, this is PK-167, copy that, I hit some turbulence and stalled, regaining altitude now" I said, "Katherine Airport, this is PK-167, permission to land, over". "PK-167, this is Katherine Airport, permission granted, Runway 2, over". "Katherine Airport, this is PK-167, acknowledged, out" I said. The plane touched down on runway 4 and we taxied to the hangar. "how was that?" I asked, "well, in order, Fun, Boring, scary, Exciting, Boring" she said. Come on Vex, I want to show you the hotel I booked, It was a three star apartment, and it looked pretty nice, I had rented the penthouse for 2 days. It was perfect, the sun was setting over a beautiful lake and the bench beside a tree was begging for us to sit on it, I ignored it, and went inside.
