7. The Weekend

I did a double check that I was ready to stay the night at Vexs' place, all I needed was the address, I called out to Alpyne "Hey, Alpy, are you ready?", he nodded. I knew where we needed to go, down the hill, turn left and on the second street on the right turn and the house number is 556. When we got there I stopped and pulled out my phone and texted "where are you?" she answered with   "324 mango circuit". Then suddenly stopped dead in my tracks, she is the one who lives in that house that is down the road from us. I made my way there quickly.

When I got there, I felt wierd, I had walked past many times and now I need to remember that there is someone that I know who lives here, I did three knocks and I heard someone stop at the door and open it, it wasn't vex, it looked like her, but this one had a more streamlined snout. As I said sorry, and turned around to leave, she asked "wait, are you Carl?" I nodded than she turned around and yelled "Vexera, honey, your boyfriends here, and he is wearing a suit!" Vex came down and said "mum, he usually wears a suit, I thought I told you this already" I very slightly blushed. "Hang on, Carl, are you part fox?" she says examining my tail. "no mrs..." I say than she says "Kaitlynn, but you can call me Lynn", then I start again "no Lynn, I am all wolf." Lynn looks at me, "so, why did you dye it?" she asks, I say "its all natural, Lynn" she looked at me over again, "well, I think thats it for the vetting, nice suit by the way", "Thanks" I said "you don't realize how long I have been waiting for a complement ever since I reailised that no one wore a suit, and on Monday it happened, your daughter is very special, you know that." she then smiled and said "do you realise how long I've been waiting for someone to say that? Ages, Absolutely Ages.". I then said "well I think that no one should have any reason to think or say anything." her mother was tearing up and Vex was really red and she ran back upstairs, "thanks, she only gets red when she really knows them" Lynn said.

"Hey Vex, come out, I was thinking we could go to the shopping centre today". "I'll be a sec" she said, I hear the door unlock and she comes out in a dress and said "lets go", she looked really pretty and as we made our way to the door, her mum just smiled. We decided to walk there because it was only about 2Kms away and I walk 1.7 everyday to get to school, but for Vex, different story, we had only made around 1.2Ks when she needed to get her breath back, so I waited, and we continued. "why are you wearing that?" I asked, "because I didn't want to make it look like I was underdressed"  we finally got there and she said "I have never come here before, so point the way" I looked at her and pointed left.
