Philip stepped through the door, coming back from Mrs. Clement's Theodosia assumed. She blushed, not because he didn't have a shirt on, but because of what had happened.

"Hey Phil." George said without looking up from the paper was reading. Philip nodded

"George, sup?" George sighed and put down his paper

"Not much, I showed Theo here where the midwife lives and she went to get a brew for you sunshine!"
It appears it will hurt." he said upon further inspection of the vile concoction Theodosia grabbed the vial from the table behind her.

"That's right! she said it had gone through many tests and works fine!" she turned towards the sunburned man. Philip frowned then pulled a shirt over his head and started backing away "Not going to happen Theodosia!" She started walking towards him and he backed away from her. Once she had him corned his breath hitched "Wha- What are you doing?" She smirked and leaned towards him, he gulped

"Take. It. Off." She whispered and he sighed, his face redder than the setting sun outside.

"Fine! He pushed past her and sat on the couch then threw his shirt to the side. George let out a loud laugh "You go Theo! Put him in his place!" Theodosia smiled back at him then noticed a red patch of skin on his am "You're next." Immediately George's expression changed and Philip fell forward laughing "HA! Poor Georgie, OW MY BACK! Theo giggled and pulled him back up.

"Okay, this may sting a little." Philip breathed in sharply as She squeezed the ointment onto her hands. "Deep breath. . ." Theodosia said then put her hands on his back, Philip shivered, she felt it because it was so abrupt. "Hey," she said gently "See, thats not so bad." Philip smiled a little, then she started spreading around the stuff and he groaned "Ow, Theodosia, they told you it was tested?" She nodded

"I'm positive." Then when she was done she did the stupidest thing she could possibly do, she kissed his bare shoulder. She got up and retreated to Philip's room to agonize over what she had done. She could hear George's cheers and then Philip's groans. She was so stupid!

She didn't come out of the room again that night. She lay on the cot and silently cried as she examined her wedding band. Had there been a funeral? Did Joseph mourn her? She only stirred when George brought her some supper. "And this is from Philip." he said, handing her a shirt.

Pine. She had already known. What was wrong with her?

Hello there! I do this sometimes, I post a chapter that's kind of irrelevant to the actual plot but that I figured you'd enjoy, I think this story deserved one seeing as there has been no Philidosia comments. Oh well, I hope you liked it.

So long fellow Hamiltrash!
