Other customers started to come in about an hour after our party started. Most of them commented on Christine's 'Bride to Be' sash.

"So, you guys wanna head out?" I asked when the barroom started to fill up.

"Don't be a party pooper, Leah!" Hailey exclaimed.

She and Christine were tearing up the dance floor. I was slowly starting to regret giving Hailey alcohol, she was getting a little wild.

I turned to Claire, who was still at the table with me. "Don't you want to join them?"

She laughed. "No thanks. I'd rather not do that to someone I literally just met."

"What?" I asked, turning to look.

Hailey was dancing on the bartender.

I sighed. At least they're enjoying themselves.

"So why aren't you getting smashed out there?" Claire asked.

"I have to make sure Christine makes it to her wedding tomorrow. And the last time I got that drunk Dean had to carry me to my bed, after I tried to get in his pants."

Claire's face scrunched up in disgust. "Information overload. Dean's like my dad."

I smiled. "I know. I'm older than you, it's my job to make you uncomfortable."

The corners of her mouth lifted slightly. "Thanks."

I continued watching my friends get their party on until I felt someone intensely watching me. I looked around the room but couldn't find the culprit. I felt pressure build up in my head, then heard a gruff voice mumble something about being sorry.

"Feathers." I said, rubbing my temples.

"Did you just say feathers?" Claire asked.

"Castiel is on his way." I told her, the pressure easing.

She raised an eyebrow. "How do you know that?"

"He was just in my head." I answered. I watched the door for a moment, Claire doing the same.

Sam Winchester came in first, followed by Dean, Cas brought up the rear.

"Ta-da." I said with false enthusiasm.

"Sammy!" Christine yelled before running into his arms.

Cas approached us, looking to Claire first. "Hello, Claire."

"Hey, Cas." She smiled at him.

After they hugged quickly he turned to me. "I apologize for that."

"Out of the four of us you had to tap into my mind?" I asked.

Cas nodded. "Yours was the first I sensed. I believe it's because of your father."

"Probably. I blame most things on him anyway. Regardless, it's okay that you did it, just don't do it again."

Castiel looked at me like he wanted to be alone with Claire. Since he doesn't see her all that often I got up, so they could catch up.

"Well, I believe I'm gonna grab a drink." I told them before walking across the room and taking a seat at the bar.

The bartender must have gotten tired of grinding against Hailey, because he was back behind the bar. After a few moments of deliberation, I decided on a screwdriver. While he mixed up the drink I looked over my shoulder at Cas and Claire. Dean had joined them. When he saw me he nodded, a beer in his hand.
