Soonyoung heard the door swing open and then slam shut again, followed by quick footsteps.  He was startled when he felt Hansol's hand on his shoulder.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Hansol apologized.

  "It's fine."

"I just wanted to see if you were okay.  You seemed pretty pissed at Jihoon back there."  He laughed and Soonyoung was suddenly flustered.  Not to mention that Hansol had actually stopped what he was doing just go after Soonyoung.  He realized he must have been staring again judging from the weird look Hansol was giving him and he said something quickly to draw attention away from how creepy he might look.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine.  Jihoon can just be an idiot sometimes.  We all know that."

Hansol grinned.  "Yeah."  He paused for a second.  "Are you going back to the dorms?"  Soonyoung nodded.  "Want me to come with you?"

"No, it's fine- I mean if you want to.  You don't have to, I'm fine walking by myself."  Shit.  I should just shut up.

"Sounds like you don't want me around," Hansol joked.

"No, no!" Soonyoung said a little too quickly.  "I want you!  To come, I want you to come."  Oh my god.  What the fuck?  What the fuck am I?  (A/N: Same, Soonyoung.  Same.)

Hansol laughed.  "I'll just take that as a yes.  Come on."  He started walking out and Soonyoung followed.

Soonyoung was having considerable trouble thinking straight (no pun intended) on the way to the dorms.  Hansol kept glancing back a him.  Eventually, he started to get frustrated with the older boy's silence.

"You're sure you're okay?" he asked, "You're really quiet.  Actually, are you sure you're really the Soonyoung I know?"  Soonyoung laughed.

"Yeah, really, I'm fine."  I'm just not talking because I don't want to embarrass myself in front of you.  "What do you want to talk about, anyway?"

"I don't know," Hansol replied, "I guess there's a lot I don't know about you."  Soonyoung tilted his head.

  "Like what?"

"Hm," Hansol thought for a second.  "Who was your first crush?"  Soonyoung's heartbeat sped up a little bit, but at least he hadn't asked for his current crush.  That would have been bad.

"I don't know if it was my first crush, but probably this guy I sat with at lunch in middle school.  He sometimes gave me some of his food."

  "How romantic," Hansol said, sarcastically.

Time flew by quickly as the two boys talked and Soonyoung was surprised at how quickly he had started to feel comfortable with Hansol.  He just had that effect on people.  Soon, they arrived at the dorms and met the other members, who had driven there.

As they walked in the door, Soonyoung caught Jeonghan whispering, "the ship is sailing!!!" to Jisoo.  He shut up when when Soonyoung gave him a glare that could have killed.  Nearly the entire group knew how Soonyoung felt about Hansol- except Hansol.  He was completely oblivious.  And until Soonyoung was sure it wouldn't ruin their friendship, he wanted to keep it that way.
