  "Hansol?"

"Hm?"  He was only half listening, staring out the window absently.

"You told me it stopped.  The comments.  You told me they weren't saying those things anymore."

Hansol looked at Soonyoung.  He was clearly worried.  That was exactly what Hansol didn't want.  He hated being a burden.  If there was one thing in life he never wanted, it was to be someone else's problem.

"It didn't seem important.  I'm fine."

"Hansol, I know you.  You're not fine.  I don't care how many times you say it doesn't bother you, I know it does."

"I've dealt with things like this all my life," Hansol said.  "I've learned how to deal with it.  I don't want to worry you."

"It's been happening to me, too.  It's not as bad as the comments you're getting, but I still don't hide it from you.  I just want you to trust me.  Why can't you do that?"  Soonyoung looked hurt.  Hansol didn't want that either.  He was so confused.  He didn't want Soonyoung to be sad, but he didn't want him to worry either.  Couldn't there be a situation where everyone wins?  No, of course not.  It didn't work in the past, it wouldn't happen now.

  "Why can't you trust me?"

"I don't want things to be worse for you because of me," Hansol replied.

"You said you didn't want to worry me, and yet you're the one worrying."

  "You're right," Hansol admitted.

"You don't need to protect me," Soonyoung said.

Hansol's phone chimed.  He took a deep breath.  He already knew what it would be.  Another twitter notification.  And this time he wouldn't hide it from Soonyoung.  There would be no secrets.

melissa the army don't you get that no one likes you?

jsm You should just die.  Everyone would be better off without you.

Jsm.  The same person as before.  This "jsm" was the first to post hate comments.  Jsm seemed to hate Hansol especially.  She always targeted him, never Soonyoung.

"I'll kill this person," Soonyoung mumbled.  So he had noticed, too.  "How can they say things that that?" he asked, the anger evident in his voice.  "How could anyone hate you so much?"

"I doesn't matter," Hansol told him, "it's just comments."

"It does matter!" Soonyoung shot back.  "What if it's not just comments?  What if something happens to you!?  I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something happened and I didn't to anything to stop it!"

  "Soonyoung. . ."

"I'm sorry.  I didn't mean to yell.  I'm just worried about you."

"I told you not to be."

"I can't help it.  I love you, that's what people do.  They worry about the people they love."

"Sorry," Hansol said.  "I just don't want you to be unhappy because of me.  It makes me feel like a burden."

"You're not a burden!" Soonyoung said, startled that Hansol felt that way.  He was always so happy, but then again, there's another side to everyone.

Hansol smiled at his boyfriend.  "Thanks," he said.

  "For what?"

  "Just being here."
