Hansol had stopped going on twitter altogether. And he tried to avoid looking at anything about him or Soonyoung on the internet. The fans' reactions were overwhelmingly supportive, but those few who weren't stood out and drowned out everything else. There had even been a few people who had gone so far as to make death threats. Most notably, jsm.
Everyone's better off with you dead. But it didn't stop there. Maybe I should do everyone a favor. I should do the job myself.
So that's why Soonyoung was getting anxious when Hansol hadn't arrived from the studio yet. He fidgeted with the sleeve of his sweater.
"I'm sure he's fine," Mingyu said, as if reading his thoughts.
"It's getting dark. . ." Soonyoung commented. "If he's not back in ten minutes I'm going to look for him." He lasted half that time.
Soonyoung stood up. "That's it I'm-" He was cut off by the door slamming. He ran to the door.
"Hansol where the hell were. . . you. . .?" He trailed off when he saw him. The left side of Hansol's face was badly bruised and his lip was bleeding. He was clutching his right arm.
"Are you okay?" Soonyoung asked, leading Hansol to the sofa. He reached up and touched Hansol's face, who winced in pain a little.
"Yeah, I've gotten into worse," Hansol reassured him.
"Your arm?"
"It's not broken. I'll be fine by the concert."
"Are you sure?" Soonyoung was worrying again. "Who did this to you?"
"I don't know," Hansol replied. "Just some guys I ran into on my way home from the studio. I think there was a girl, too. I don't know, I didn't get a good look at her."
Soonyoung couldn't help but think, jsm? It was a possibility. With all the things she had said, it wouldn't surprise him if she tried to follow through with her promises. And Soonyoung knew he would protect Hansol at all costs.
