"The shooter of Seventeen member Kwon Soonyoung, more widely known as Hoshi, has been arrested. She has been in the local jail as of yesterday and is awaiting trial, pleading not guitly by insanity. However, is unlikely that she will get less than a ten year sentence."
All of Seventeen was gathered around the TV, watching the news broadcast.
"So the plan really worked," Soonyoung said.
"Yeah. We're finally okay again."
"Here's the footage taped on a fan's iphone from the night of the shooting," the news anchor said. Soonyoung tensed up.
"Do you want to turn the TV off or. . ." Hansol trailed off, taking hold of Soonyoung's hand.
"No. I feel like I have to watch it. If I'm ever going to get better, I just need to face this head on."
Muted screams poured out of the speakers when the image of Soonyoung fell on stage. Hansol felt the grip on his hand tighten. The camera was shaking and the person filming was saying something that couldn't be made out. And then it was over. The screen switched back to the news room and Soonyoung was okay. Alive and well, right next to Hansol. Right where he should be. A little shaken up, yes, but no panic attack.
"You okay?" Hansol gave his boyfriend's hand a squeeze.
"Yeah," Soonyoung said, smiling, although his voice shook a little. "I think I'll be fine."
