  "Soonyoung?"

Hansol looked at the frail, silent boy.  Soonyoung's warm brown eyes fixed their gaze on Hansol.

"God, I'm so glad you're okay!"  Hansol grinned.

Soonyoung smiled weakly.  "Hansol, you look awful."

"Speak for yourself!" Hansol said, mock offended.

"You look like you haven't slept in days."

"Yeah, well I haven't!" Hansol confirmed.  "You had us all worried sick!"

"Wait, how long has it been?" Soonyoung asked, confused.

  "A week," Hansol answered.

Soonyoung turned on his back and stared at the ceiling.  The lights were cold and uninviting, almost grey.  He hated hospitals.  They made him think of death.  It wasn't a cheerful topic.

"It should be me," Hansol said quietly after a few minutes, almost as if he were talking to himself.  "She was aiming for me.  You shouldn't have saved me.  I never wanted you to get hurt.  That's why I don't want you to worry about me.  People get hurt when they worry about me."

Soonyoung faced Hansol.  He looked at him with a puzzled expression for a second; he had a feeling that this wasn't entirely about him, but he didn't ask.  "I couldn't just let her shoot you," Soonyoung said.

  "You care too much."

  "Maybe I do."

"You never think about yourself!  What if this happens again?  I couldn't let you die saving my ass!"

"What if it was me?" Soonyoung asked.  "What if I had been in your place?"

Hansol knew.  He wouldn't hesitate.  He would do the same thing.  "I would die for you if I had to."

Soonyoung nodded.  "You understand.  I wouldn't change what I did.  I would take the bullet for you every time."  Hansol did understand, but he didn't want Soonyoung risking his life for him.

"I don't want you to do that even again, do you hear me?"

Soonyoung sighed.  "And here comes the lecture. . ."
