Jungkook

"Haena can you please stop running around. I'm trying to do my homework", you said to your little sister.

She kept giggling and running around your room, throwing small pillows into the air. You huffed out a breath and tried to ignore her.

Your parents had left you to babysit while they went on vacation for a week. Though you did enjoy babysitting, at nights it can get a bit difficult.

You were thinking about what to write for your essay but you couldn't figure out what. A slight tap on your window startled you but then smiled as you noticed it was your neighbor Jungkook. You opened the window to have his arms lean against the window frame.

"Hey, trouble in paradise?", he chuckled as he saw your sister playing with your makeup.

"Haena leave that! Go to your room please", you groaned.

She pouted and skipped away out of your room. You sighed and massaged your temples.

"What are you doing?", he asked, looking over at your laptop.

"I have to write an essay. It can be about whatever but it's really not that easy", you said.

You tried to focus on your essay but couldn't help look over at Jungkook. He was already looking at you, a soft smile on his face. He shook his head and chuckled while he looked away.

"What are you doing out there anyways? Aren't you supposed to be home? It's almost 11", you said.

"Parents are arguing again. They locked the door and wouldn't open it so..", he mumbled, playing with a stick he found on the ground.

"What?? Really?..well do you wanna come in? You can stay for a while or even sleep in the guest bedroom", you said.

"No it's okay. I don't wanna be a bother", he said.

"You're not a bother. Come in", you gestured.

He nodded and had trouble getting in through the window so you decided to help him. His foot ended up getting caught, making him fall forward with you as well. He had to place his arms forward so he wouldn't land on you but he was too slow.Your noses bumped against each other and you gasped. His face was so close to yours.

"This reminds of the first time we met. Remember?", he asked, looking into your eyes.

You blushed and cleared your throat. You had to lightly pushed him away and fanned yourself. You went back to your spot to continue with your essay. Jungkook kept smiling as he saw how red your face was. He sat down next to you and looked at your laptop.

"You still owe me a kiss on the cheek for that bet you lost", he said.

"There is know way I'm kissing you", you laughed.

"Why not? You scared?", he smirked.

"N-No-", you stuttered.

"Then what's the problem? It's just a kiss on the cheek. It's harmless", he said.

"Okay if I do it, will you leave it alone?", you asked.

"Mhmm", he nodded.

You moved your laptop and faced him. He turned his face the other direction and pointed at his cheek. You bit your lip and hesitated as his jawline stood out.

"I'm waiting", he sang.

You took a deep breath and leaned forward to kiss his cheek but as soon as you were close, he turned, causing you to kiss his lips. You lightly gasped and covered your mouth.

He smiled at your reaction and chuckled. His face turned more serious as he kissed you again. You weren't sure if it was because you were still shocked or because you liked the tingly feeling in your stomach but you didn't pull away. The kiss got more heated as time passed and he was already on top of you. His hand was going up your shirt and that's when you had to pull away.

"Wait..", you said, sitting up.

"What? What's wrong?", he asked.

"Nothing", you chuckled nervously.

"Are you-..have you never-", he said, you shaking your head.

"Oh..that's okay. We don't have to do anything. Um..where's your bathroom?", he asked.

"Right down the hall", you answered.

He got off of your bed and headed out of your room. A few seconds later, an unfamiliar ringtone was heard on your bed.

"This must be Jungkook's..should I answer it?",  you asked yourself.

You probably thought it was one of Jungkook's parents so you answered it.

"Hello?", you said.

"Hello? Who's this?"

"Jungkook's Friend..he's my neighbor. He's actually in the bathroom right now", you said.

"Oh. Well when he gets out, can you tell him that I was calling him. I'm his girlfriend."

As soon as she said who she was, Jungkook entered your room, eyebrow raised as he looked at you.

"Wait...he just entered", you said.

You stood up from your bed and handed him the phone.

"It's your girlfriend", you told him, his eyes widening and ears turning red.

You went back to your bed and grabbed your laptop.

"Yeah...I know..I'm not home....", Jungkook kept talking on the phone while taking a few glances at you.

He hung up and sat down next to you, trying to get your attention.

"So What? Your girlfriend doesn't give you any and you thought if you went next door to see the neighbor girl who's still a virgin she might be desperate enough to sleep with you?", you scoffed and rolled your eyes as you turned away from him.

"It's not like that. She's not actually my girlfriend", he said.

"Then why did she say she was? You're not fooling me", you said.

"My parents want us to be together. They want us to get married. But I told them that I didn't want to. That's why they're arguing. I swear to you she means nothing to me", he said, kneeling in front of you.

"I don't know if I believe you", you mumbled.

"Check my phone. I don't have any pictures of her anywhere. I don't even have her number saved. Please believe me", he said.

"Why does she say she's your girlfriend then?", you asked.

"Because she likes me. She calls me whenever she's bored. But I'm not doing anything with her. I swear", he said.

You sighed and nodded, placing your laptop aside. You don't even know why you were making such a big deal out of it. You've known him a couple of weeks and you weren't really gonna let him do anything with you....even though you did wanna keep going.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have overreacted. Anyways, we should be quiet since my sister is probably asleep now. I wish I can sleep. I still have to figure out what to write about", you said.

"I can help you. Since you're letting me stay the night, I think it's best if I help you out. That way you can finish more quickly", he said.

"Alright. But don't distract me", you said.

"It's tempting. But alright", he smiled.

So I have a lot of homework to do and I have a date later today with the same guy. Wish me luck on both😅
