Taehyung (Pt. 2)

It's been a few days since you've moved back home. During your free time, you go with Taehyung to his practice. You try to avoid Jungkook but it seems like he always wants to have a conversation with you. He even introduced you to his girlfriend. You had no interest whatsoever.

You were a bit thirsty so you went over to the vending machine to buy a water bottle. As you did that, Jungkook was right behind you.

"So how are you? We haven't really had a conversation that lasted longer than three minutes", he said.

"..I'm fine", you mumbled.

"And how's your job?", he asked.

"Fine", you answered.

You grabbed your water bottle and turned to walk back into the practice room, that's until Jungkook said something that made your heart stop.

"(Y/n)....I miss you", he said.

You froze. Tears started forming in your eyes. Before he could say something, you went back to the practice room and sat down on the floor. Taehyung noticed something was wrong so he sat down next to you.

"What's wrong?", he asked.

"Nothing", you smiled, obviously a fake one.

He didn't believe you but felt you didn't feel comfortable talking about it so he just placed his hand over yours and lightly squeezed.

"You know what I like seeing? Your smile. Your real smile. I wonder what I could do so I can see your smile..hmm...maybe if I hug you..do you want a hug?", he asked, eyebrow raised.

Taehyung noticed you weren't smiling still. You glanced over at Jungkook who was watching you from the center of the room with the other guys.

"Wanna get some ice cream after?", he asked.

"...yeah", you answered.

You and Taehyung have been walking for a few minutes already. He's been talking since you left the building but you were quiet. When he noticed you were upset, he stopped in front of you.

"Get on my back. I'll give you a piggyback ride", he said, turning his back to you.

"Um.."

"I'm not moving until you get on my back", he said.

You shrugged your shoulders and got on his back. You rested your chin on his shoulder, sighing. Before turning the corner, he warned you before spinning you around. You began to laugh. Taehyung helped you not be sad and just enjoy your day.

The next day there was an event that was being held at their company's building. Taehyung invited you to go with him. You were a bit nervous.

As you entered the building, you can feel a presence staring at you. You didn't bother looking around since you just wanted to focus on was Taehyung.

About an hour later of sitting and listening to other people talk, Jungkook's girlfriend was called up to make a speech. She was talking about the movies that she starred in and how she's thankfully for everyone. It wasn't until she called Jungkook up that made you feel sick. They were cheered on to dance with each other. As they danced, you can see Jungkook staring right at you. You were tired of it so you stood up and walked out of the building.

You were sitting on the sand as you watched the ocean in front of you. Your knees were brought up to your chest, arms wrapped you as the cold breeze touched your skin. Not a moment later, a jacket was wrapped over your shoulders.

"You should always bring a sweater whenever it's cold", Jungkook said as he sat down next to you.

"I don't need it", you said, taking off his sweater and handing it to him.

"Take it. I know you're cold", he said, lightly pushing it back to you.

"No really", you said, repeating the action.

"You're gonna get sick if you do-"

"Jungkook!", your shouting startled Jungkook.

"I don't want it because I feel like you're gonna get the wrong idea. I'm trying so hard to be respectful towards your relationship. But you acting this way is giving me mixed emotions. You have to stay by the person that you love. Please...just leave", you said as nicely as you could.

He looked at you for a few seconds before nodding. Once he left, you began to cry. You cried until you heard some music coming from right next to you. When you looked over, you noticed Taehyung standing with his hand extended towards you. You shook your head.

"Come on, you deserve your dance too", he said.

You were hesitant at first but took his hand anyways. He carefully helped you up and placed his hands around you, guiding you to dance. While doing so, he wiped away the remaining tears from your face.

"A beautiful face shouldn't include sad tears", he said.

You remained silent. You felt like if you talked about it, you were gonna cry again. Obviously he noticed so he stopped and grabbed his phone. He changed the music from soft to upbeat. He took off his jacket and began spinning it over his head.

"What are you doing?", you chuckled.

"Dance party. Come on, don't be a party pooper", he said, moving his head in a weird way.

As you started to dance, you were feeling better. You laughed as soon as he did the running man.

"What's so funny? My moves are cool", he said.

"If you say so", you continued to laugh.

"Are you denying my cool moves?", he asked, scoffing playfully.

"Maybe", you chuckled.

"Oh really?", he asked, getting closer to you.

You knew he was planning to do something so you backed away.

"I was kidding. Your moves are cool", you laughed as soon as he picked you up.

When he put you down on your feet, he smiled down at you, admiring the features on your face.

"You really are beautiful", he said.

His sudden comment made you awkwardly laugh. His hand lowered to your chin and slightly lifted your face up so you can look at him. He leaned forward, targeting your lips. Once they touched, you felt yourself floating.

What they didn't notice was Jungkook watching from afar, roses in his hands but soon dropping them as he felt crushed. He had just broken up with his girlfriend a few minutes ago so he could be with you but seeing you happy with someone other than him made him realize he'll never get you back.
