Jin

You were now eight months pregnant and you were tired of it. You had trouble sleeping, back pains were the worst, and you always had to pee. Your closest friend Jin always helped you even when you don't ask for it. The father of the baby keeps in contact with you but he hasn't seen you since you told him about the news that you were pregnant. You were evicted from your apartment so you moved in with the guys. They were excited to meet your baby.

"I love you and all but why do you always have to be such a pain?", you groaned as you tried standing up from your bed.

It was 8:30 in the morning. You had an appointment at 10 and you were really nervous. You missed a few...or more than a few..appointments for the past few months because you were scared. The first sonogram freaked you out and made you realize that you had a small human being growing inside of your stomach and you were gonna be responsible for it...him. Since then you've gotten a full time job while going to school.

You began to walk..or waddle..your way towards the kitchen to eat some breakfast.

"Okay so 4 o'clock is fine. I'll keep her busy until then. We'll meet here and-", when you walked into the kitchen, you noticed Jin, Jimin, Jungkook, and Namjoon quickly jumping to their feet as they saw you, hiding something behind their backs.

"What's going on here?", you asked, rubbing your eyes.

"Um..n-nothing", Jin said, everyone else nervously laughing.

"Oh-kay?", you raised an eyebrow and shook your head.

You headed towards the fridge and took out some eggs. You prepared everything to make yourself some eggs and toast.

"So do you still want me to go with you to the doctor's appointment?", Jin asked, shooing everyone else away.

"Yeah. I mean, do you have something to do?", you asked.

"No I just wanted to know if you still want me to", he said, leaning against the counter.

"Yeah I do want you to. I'm a bit scared", you chuckled nervously.

"Don't worry. Everything will be fine. And after your appointment, we'll get something to eat and then we'll come back here to.....hang out", he said, tapping his fingers on the counter.

"You don't have to work?", you asked.

"No I don't. I took the day off today", he smiled.

You and Jin were in the waiting room, watching as each patient went in as they got called on. Your leg kept shaking and your hands were clammy. Jin kept hesitating to hold your hand.

"Miss (y/n), we'll see you now."

"Uh..Jin..do you mind going in with me?", you asked.

"Sure", he smiled.

You were on your back, the nurse squeezing a warm gel like substance on your stomach. Your heart kept pounding so you held onto Jin's hand. He was taken aback and slightly blushed. He squeezed your hand and smiled when you made eye contact with him.

"Your baby is doing great. We'll give you the sonogram and I'll send you towards the doctor's office to talk about the birthing process", the nurse smiled before walking out.

After eating, Jin drove you back to the house. You kept holding his hand because...it just felt right.

"Thanks Jin. For helping me get through today", you smiled.

"Well...it's not over yet", he said.

"What..do you mean?", you asked.

He just smiled and opened the front door for you. When you walked in, the guys yelled 'surprise' which startled you a bit. They had decorated the house and you never thought that something like that would be for you.

"What's this?", you asked, chuckling.

"Your baby shower. You wouldn't get the whole experience of pregnancy without having one", Jin smiled.

Everyone greeted you and kept showing you their own drawings of how the baby will look like. You just got there and you were already having fun. You played games and had some cake. You went through the presents that they gave you.

"Older ladies love me?", you read the words on the small t-shirt.

"That's from me", Jimin said as he raised his arm.

You chuckled and rolled your eyes, setting it aside with the other presents that you opened.

Hours pass. You were exhausted. The guys were cleaning up the mess as you rested on the couch, head on the pillow while you smiled.

"We're done. A few of us have to go meet someone for the collaboration. Jin hyung and Suga hyung will be here-"

"I'll be asleep", Suga said, raising a peace sign in the air as he walked into the room.

"Don't worry. I'll stay with her", Jin said before letting the guys leave.

He kneeled down in front you and rested his hand on your forehead, pushing a few hairs back. You sighed at the feeling and smiling with your eyes closed.

"Thanks Jin..for everything", you said.

"No problem", he smiled.

"I'm serious. You care more about me than my own ex boyfriend and you're not even the father of this baby. You're literally keeping me on both feet. I don't think I would've done it alone. So..thank you", you smiled.

"..that ex boyfriend of yours is really stupid. He's really missing out", he said.

He rested his head on the couch so it was angled the same way as yours. His hand went over your cheek while looking into your eyes.

"..you're supposed to be my friend but...why does it feel like you're..more?", you whispered.

He glanced at your lips for a second before attaching his to yours. When he pulled away, he kept a close distance.

"Ow", you winced in pain as you placed a hand on your stomach.

"What?? Is it the baby?? Is it time?? Should I call the ambulance?? Do I drive you to the hospital?? Is the baby bag even ready??", Jin stood up and kept pacing back and forth.

"Jin, it's fine. The baby just kicked...and hard this time",you chuckled.

"Oh", he sighed in relief as he placed his hand on his chest.

"Come. Feel it", you motioned him to sit next to you.

When he did, you grabbed his hand and placed it on the spot where the baby was kicking. He was amazed. He put his other hand on your stomach and smiled.

"I Uh...just wanted to know that...if you're planning to-.....um..", you kept stuttering.

You were never good at saying what you want to say. He noticed you were struggling so he quickly cupped your cheeks and kissed you.

"I wouldn't have gotten myself this close to you just to let you go", he said.

"The baby will need lots of attention, you won't have any sleep, there will be a lot of doctors appointments. This isn't a joke", you said.

"What makes you think I'm joking? I've been there for you long before you were pregnant. And I will be there for you after. I don't plan on going anywhere. I'm in 100%", he whispered.

You smiled and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, pulling him in so you can kiss him.
