HIDEKI POV
"Took you long enough."
...What? The fuck does that mean?
"Um what took me long enough?"
"To admit you like me." He smirks.
I blush. Damn now I regret it, I don't even know if he likes me too.
"I know it did but at least I finally said it now." I huff, I feel so embarrassed because now I feel like he's making fun of me, but I'm not letting him break me... yet.
I turn around. "Well now that that's done and you probably don't like me that way, I can finally move on-"
"Wait what? I like you too though, didn't I make it obvious for you?" I pause and turn around to face him once again. He looks slightly flustered, ruffling his own hair sheepishly.
"I always like to tease you to get your attention, I guess you're that oblivious huh?" He continues. I stare at him in confusion.
"But why though?"
"What do you mean by 'Why though?' What's wrong with liking you?"
"No I mean I don't understand why you would like me. I'm not as perfect as you are. And there are obviously so many other people who are way better than me and plus, I treated you like shit." I ramble. Dylan chuckles and looks down at me in... adoration?
"There are a lot of reasons why I like you Hideki. Let's see... the fact that you're always doing your best to take care of Akio, and not only Akio, but to all of us. I also love how honest and down to earth you are and if you are feeling some kind of emotion, you're never afraid to show it. I especially love how strong you are, even though you're juggling so many issues along with your studies, you're able to hold on and push through. I like you for so many things and those things make me believe that you're perfect."
I stand there, stunned at his words. Butterflies begin fluttering in the pits of my stomach and my heart feels like it's going to explode. I feel so relieved.
"Is that enough to make you believe I love you?"
My body begins to move by itself, as I lean forward to kiss him. He was surprised at first (I was surprised myself), but soon we both melt into the kiss and he slides his arms around my waist whilst mine are around his neck.
It feels perfect.
He pulls me closer to him and deepens the kiss, it's obvious that he's experienced, which relieves me for I don't know a single thing. He swipes his tongue on my bottom lip as if awaiting for entry and I was about to open my mouth when-
"YES! FINALLY, THANK THE LORDS!!" I hear muffled screams coming from what seems like outside our classroom. Fucking hell Akio.
Dylan and I turn to our left to see Akio, Cassie and Chris outside the window. Cassie and Akio screaming and dancing in joy whilst Chris trying to use his bag as some form of protection from either Cassie and Akio or the view of Dylan and I making out. Probably both.
As soon as all three realised we caught them, they pause and look like deers caught in the headlights. It's really amusing.
Akio is the first one to break the stance, he coughs. "I'll be staying over at Cassie's, so have fun!!" He winks at me before dragging Cassie away.
"Congrats by the way my dudes," Cassie yells out. "And remember to play it safe."
Chris rolls his eyes at the two, following suite, listlessly waving at the both of us. "See you later guys. And next time, get an actual fucking room instead of a classroom with windows fixed all over the walls. You don realise there are still teachers and students around and you're lucky you were only caught by us."
