My Ninjago Thoughts [Season 1]

Episode 1: Rise of the Snakes

Fun Fact: It took me up to about Episode 3: Snakebit to learn all of the ninjas' names.

*Weekend Whip*

Me: Oooh! This is a catchy song.

All Ninja: *playing video games* 🎮

Me: They look like they're having so much fun. *looks closer at what they are playing* Wait... their video game looks vaguely familiar.

Sensei Wu: *unplugs video game*

Me: That's so not cool, Sensei.

Zane: "But, Sensei Wu, ever since he's been gone, Ninjago has had nothing but peace."

Jay: "Yeah, peace is boring. There's no one to save. There's nothing to do."

Me: You just jinxed yourselves.

Cole: "We can train tomorrow."

Me: Why does he sound like the red ninja?

Sensei Wu: *kicks pizza slice out of Cole's hand* "No pizza for you!"

Me: You just wasted a perfectly good piece of pizza! 🍕

Sensei Wu: "You four have merely scratched the surface of your full potential. There are still so many secrets you have yet to unlock. You haven't even begun to tap into what powers your Golden Weapons hold."

Me: Of course, there is always more to learn. So tell us what it is, Sensei!

Zane: "Don't worry, Master. We will be ready when Lord Garmadon returns."

Nya: "Guys! Lord Garmadon, he's returned! He was spotted approaching Jamanakai Village."

Me: You guys totally jinxed yourselves.

All Ninja: *run frantically around*

Me: This is me trying to get ready for school after I realize I'm running late.

Nya: "Will they ever reach their full potential?"

Sensei Wu: "In time. Maybe a long time, but in time."

Me: Wow, Sensei. You seem to have so much confidence in the ninjas... not.

All Ninja: *argue over who won the race*

Me: It looked like you all crashed into the side of the mountain.

Villagers: *run into their houses and slam the doors*

Me: News must travel fast in Jamanakai.

Lloyd: *laughs like Lord Garmadon*

Me: Oh no! He actually is back!

Lloyd: "It is I, Lloyd Garmadon! I demand all the candy in town, or else..."

Me: Who the heck is this little brat?!

Jay: "Lloyd Garmadon? I thought we were going to face Lord Garmadon."

Me: I thought so too.

Cole: "It's his son."

Me: Say what now?! Garmadon had a son?

Lloyd: "Give me your candy or else I'll release the Serpentine on you!"

Villagers: "BOO!"

Me: What a dumb kid this is. I'm totally with the crowd.

Lloyd: *opens can of fake snakes* *gets hit with a vegetable* 🍆
