“Cassie? Girls? You ready?” Harrys voice hollers out from downstairs.
A week later from talking to Harry about going on holiday and only three days left until Christmas day. I haven’t even talk to my parents since the day I told them I was moving out with Sophia and Olivia. Actually that’s a lie; I told them yesterday that I have adopted the twins. But hey, it’s a two way street right? If they wanted to talk to me they would have, but they haven’t and they don’t want to. Which is completely fine by me, I don’t really care. The girls have been over a few times though since we moved out, but that is to be expected right?
I trail my suitcase down the stairs to find Harry and the girls already standing -with no bags or anything around them, meaning they are already in the car- waiting patiently for me to come to them so we can make our way to the airport so we can catch our flight.
-
It was a short flight, only two hours long until we reached Marbella and the girls coloured and talked about how Daisy is for most of it- Eden said she would look after her for the week and three days that we are away.
“Harry, grab Sophia please” I laugh at the five-year-old who is walking out of the airport half asleep, while Olivia is actually sleeping on top of the suitcases in the cart.
Lifting Olivia off of the suitcases and sliding her into the taxi, Harry doing the same with Olivia, we load the suitcases into the boot, and get into the car. We tell the driver the address of our hotel and he starts driving once Harry finishes rambling on about how to get there, even though he has no idea where we have to go but I’ll just let him keep going on about it.
-
“Can we go... to the beach?” Sophia asks in-between a big yawn as she lays her head onto the fluffy white pillow in the bed which she and Olivia are sharing.
“Hmm” I frown slightly, “It’s pretty late and you’re tried, maybe tomorrow yeah?” I suggest and she nods, immediately dozing off to sleep, whereas Olivia was out for the count and hour or two ago whilst we unpacked the main things we need for our stay here.
I go into the living room area – yes, Harry has went and got a proper ‘apartment’ like hotel room for us – to find Harry staring at the wall ahead of him, and look of anger in his eyes and his phone in his hand.
I walk over and sit silently beside him. He doesn’t reach my gaze, in fact, he doesn’t do anything at all. Just stays there, looking at the wall ahead.
“What’s happened?” I ask, taking his phone and setting it on the table lightly.
“She’s here.” He says emotionlessly.
“Who’s?” I ask, a little confused as to who he is talking about. I mean I know loads of girls, and so does he, so saying ‘she’s here’ doesn’t really narrow anything down now does it?
“Bella. My ex.” He replies, finally bringing his concentrated look to meet my eyes.
“Why’s that a problem?” I ash as I push a few of his soft curls out of his eyes.
“I don’t want her ruining this holiday; it’s meant for you me and the girls. Not for her to come with all her crap.” He sighs, as he leans forward, leaning his elbows on his eyes knees and resting his head in his hands.
“harry” I laugh lightly, rubbing circles on his back with my whole hand. “Nothing can ruin this, okay?” He nods slightly and I continue. “Let’s just go to bed yeah?” He stands up and smiles at me, grabbing my hand and going to our bedroom.
-
“So what are we doing today?” Harry asks nobody in particular as he sits down on the sofas along with me and the girls, who eat star-shaped cereal for their breakfast, but I only drink a cup of tea since I am not hungry yet.
