                               (Rue)
I sprint down the deserted corridors, past offices, and large meeting rooms.
All the walls are a deep shade of black, one, that for some reason makes me feel sick inside.

I start to walk, as I approach a black and grey door.
I turn the handle, surprised when it opens.
I slip through, walking slowly so my shoes don't make noise against the tiled floor.
As I look to my sides, I can see small black dungeons, that run all the way to the farthest door.
I look into one of them, and feel a strange cold feeling, run down my spine.
I shiver.
"Don't look up, don't look up," I say under my breath, looking down at the floor.
I can already imagine the horror, the pure terror, of these poor people.
Children and adults clawing at the barred cells, with their skinny hands.
Dirty and skinny children sit in the corners of the cells, marks in their skin, from whatever torture they had to endure.
The look the children give as you walk by, a heartbreaking stare, that makes you want to claw your eyes out.
Bile rises in my throat.

I feel tears coming, but I hold them in.
I'm not going to cry for these innocent people, I'm going to fight.
Even if no one else is.

I move quickly through the narrow cobblestone streets.
Lurking in the shadows, afraid soldiers will find me.
Yes I admit, I'm terribly terrified.
But that's not going to help me find Rue.
The wind carries me to an opening, where I can hear a mans voice.
I peek from behind my hiding place, and see a middle aged man, dressed in a dark black suit, not a fancy one though, one that makes him look like a killer.
His greasy black hair doesn't help with the creepy killer thing.

If anything, he screams,
HEY LOOK AT ME! IM HERE TO KILL YOU!
Or something like that.

"Ya, ya, ya, nothing yet, boss is going to kill us if we don't get moving, I heard from Bernard that it'll take like 3 more days to be up and running, but it's not like their
ganna come fight us, so ya."

The mans booming voice snaps me back to reality.

"Okay! I know, okay, get back to work."

And with that, he shoves his walkie talkie back into his pocket, leaning against the ship like structure.

"Shit," I curse under my breath.

I start to come up with a plan.
One little mistake, and I'll be dead, these people aren't to be messed with, there has to be a reason why my people aren't fighting.

I make the wind carry me to the back of one of the buildings, so I'm facing the mans back.
I quietly call the wind once more, and shoot it straight at the man, covering his mouth, and pinning him to the floor.
He flails, and scratches at the air, but goes suddenly still.
And limp.
I approach the man, and look into his cold, and now lifeless eyes.
The wind must've done its job.

I look down, then strip off his jacket, and put it on.
Then I throw his body into one of the temples near by, and lock the door for safe keepings.

I grab his swipe card from his pocket, and head inside the ship.

The hallways are dark and gloomy, also deserted, theirs no one in sight.
I wonder why their boss doesn't have any guards patrolling the hallways?

I walk, and walk, and walk for what feels like hours, but probably isn't.
I reach another hallway, but this one's shorter than the rest of them.
And I can clearly make out a greyish door.
I walk towards it, closer, and closer.
Something seems strange about it, almost like it's not supposed tone there.
If that makes scene.

Suddenly, a hand grabs my wrist, and pulls me through a door.
I try to yelp, but another hand covers my mouth.

I'm dead, I know it.

But then the person whispers.
"It's me Jack, it's Rue."
The man looks out the door.

"How do I know your Rue? Huh?"
I hiss.
The man sighs.
"Ask me a question only Rue would know."
I try to break free from him, but his grip on my wrist tightens.

"Fine," I say.
"What was the object, in the secret room I showed you at my old house? Only Rue would know that."
"It was a statue, actually, and it was one of an waterfall."

"Rue?" I ask.
The man sighs.
"Yes it's me, I used Sialem's way of using the last element. It worked perfectly, and......wait, I'm supposed to be mad at you."

Rue pauses.

Yep, definitely Rue. Definitely.

"What in the bloody heck are you doing here? And how'd you escape my barrier?!? Wait! That's not important,
Whyareyouhere?whatareyoudoingicantbeliveyou..."

"Rue!" I say looking directly at her, shaking her shoulders.
"I came for you, I couldn't just let you risk your life like this."

"But I'm safe, aren't I? I can handle myself."
"Rue, I'm not leaving here without you, never again."

She glares at me, looking like she wants to punch me.
But then she says,
"Fine."
"Wait what? Seriously? We can leave?"
"That's not what I meant," she says again.
I stare at her, confused.
"If I have to leave with you, then you'll have to stay here with me, and help destroy this dude, cause I'm not leaving without doing it."

"Rue I can't let you..."
"No Jack, I've made up my decision. So you ether stay with me, or leave alone."

I know that's her final answer, and I also know that theirs no convincing her otherwise.

"How are you going to get out of his body?" I ask.

Rue looks at her t-shirt, and runs her hands through the mans hair.

"I can't leave his body, he'll be awake after that, and even if we make him unconscious, he'll still wake up eventually."

I think of what I did to that other soldier, the thought of doing it again sickens me, but I know what I have to do.
