              (Hutton) 6:36 am
I bring Rue into the control room, passing all the switches, and wires.

I sit her down in a chair near me, just in case something else happens.

"That shit head stabbed me, so how will I be able to walk?" She asks me.

"I am aware that the "shit head" has stabbed you, yes, and you will be able to walk, but not run. And try not to talk to much." I tell her.

She ignores me, and continues to talk.
"But exactly how do plan on healing my leg?"

"With my mind."
I grab a first aid kit, and kneel in front of her.

I place my hands on her leg around the gash.
"This might take a while," I say staring at her large wound.

I focus on her wound, and close my eyes, feeling energy flow through my mind, to my fingertips, onto the large gash.

She winces.
"Sorry," I whisper.
"It's okay, just stings. How long is this going to take?" She asks.

"About...half an hour seeing how deep your gash is."
"What? We don't have that long!"

She places her hands on my hands, and closes her eyes.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Helping you," she says in an "obvious" tone.

The second she finishes her sentence, my hand shoot off her leg, when a feeling of a shock runs through my fingertips.
"Ouch."

I look down at her leg, and see tiny sparks at the tips of her fingers, spreading through her wound.
"Shit that cool," I say in awe.

"Thank you?...I guess," she says opening her eyes.

When I look back at her wound, I see it's almost done, and has turned into a small cut.

"I need, you, to, get to the, control, rooms," she says.
"Are you okay?"
"Yeah," she responds tiredly.

"I think your wearing yourself out," I say rushing to her side.
"Let me take over," I say pointing to her leg.
No I'm, fine, just go, and turn, off the electricity,"

I take one more glance in her direction, before heading over to the control area.
I place my hand on the access panel.
"Access granted."

The panel door swings open, and I quickly trace my hands in the buttons before finding the lighting button.
I flip the switch, and the lights go off all through the ship.

"Now, do the, heating," Rue calls.
I look for the switch, and shut it off.

"Anything else?" I ask.
"Water," she calls.

Two spaces down, water.
I flip the switch.

"But I need, you, to turn, on the, air conditioning, I need, the air, for something."

"Air conditioning, air conditioning," I mutter to myself.
"There it is."
I flip the switch, and cool air fills the room, making me shiver.

I run back to Rue, and see she already shivering, and rubbing her arms.
"My leg is done," she says, struggling to get up.
"I would put the sweater on, but it's kind of soaked in blood," she tells me.

"There should be extra coats in a thick metal closet over there," I tell her.
"I'll get two."
"No, it's fine, I got it."

She disappears behind the wall, and I turn around to shut the panel.

When she comes back, we both slip into the warm grey sweaters, and zip them up to our chins.
"It's going to get colder, so we have to go as fast as possible. But to make sure the power and everything stays out..."
I walk back over to the panel, and with the gun in my pocket, I start to shoot and destroy every part and button."

Rue unplugs her ears, and pulls me to the door.
Now comes the hard part.
