                                (Rue)
I wake up the next morning, and still hear Jack snoring loudly, all curled up at the side of the couch.
I try to smile, but my face just won't let me.
Instead, I frown.

It feels like my mouth is glued down, into a permanent frown, not able to smile anymore.
Like a piece of me is broken-torn apart.
What's left of me? I'm not sure anymore.

A couple seconds later, the door flys open, revealing two tall men with thick cuffs in their hands.

Jack, startled by the loud bang, springs to his feet, looking down to me where I sit.

"Your presence is needed," one of them says.

We both take one step closer to them.
"C'mon," the other one says.
"We can't wait all day."

The tallest takes my arms, and chains heavy, and bulky metal cuffs.
The cuff clasps over my entire hand, leaving only my upper wrist, and up exposed.
Then the other one walks up to me, and clips a thin metal bracelet around my wrist.

"These'll keep you from using the wind," he says.

The slightly shorter man, also clasps the wind proof cuffs around Jack's hands.
Then they push us through the doorway.

"Master."

My uncle spins on his heels, and smiles when he catches sight of me.

"Well, how are you?"
I don't respond.

The two men exit the room, leaving only Jack and I alone with my uncle.

"Once we land, which is soon, we'll get you two to your rooms, and then the next day you'll start training.
Yes?"
I nod slowly.

He claps his hands together.
"Good. We will be landing in about...thirty minuets, so get ready.
He ushers us out the door, and into the hallway where the two guards from before, push us along.

As we walk, I steal a quick glance at Jack.
His jaw is clenched, and his face shows no emotion, his hair is messy, and his beautiful eyes have been washed over with tiredness.
What have I put him through?

I should have left him, I shouldn't have let him help me.
I should have just kept him away, and safe.

My heart starts racing, and I worry I'm going to have a small panic attack, so I just repeat the words I always repeat.

Be strong.
You can do this.
Nothing's going to happen.
You'll be fine.

I repeat those words over and over again, slowly calming down.

"We'll get you guys when the time comes," one of the guard says.

The time has come, and that means our plan has officially begun.

We landed about ten minuets ago, and when I looked out the window in the hallway, all I could see was dark gloomy sky's, and grey clouds.
There was no more whispered from the wind. Not even scared ones.

The place is dead, no winds, dark cloudy sky's, and dusty rock floors.

"Hurry up," the guard says pushing me along the hallway.

I look at Jack, and he nods.
We both know what we have to do.

Me and Jack whispered our plans together while in our room.

We make it outside, I send one man flying, Jack runs to get help back at the temples, and me.
Well, I stay and figure out a way to kill this man.

Of course Jack wasn't all to happy with the arrangements.
But I finally got him to agree...after an hour of begging.

Once we turn the corner, two more men follow behind us.
Seriously!?
We have to have extra protection? This is going to make things a bit more challenging.

We walk down another hallway, that looks really familiar, and as we continue walking, I realize we're going through the front doors.

The huge metallic black doors slide open, and all to soon the smell of death fills my nostrils.
The air is hot, due to the lack of wind, and it's hard to see into the distance.
Thick fog covers the sky, and I find myself coughing.
Then I remember the plan.

I look at Jack, and raise my eyebrow at him, signalling for him to get ready.

I use all my strength to call a wind, but I feel nothing, and the cuffs are also making it really hard.
But I'm stronger than the cuffs.

Suddenly in the distance, I feel something stir.
A gust.

"Wait! She's trying to cal a wind!" One of them shouts.
But it's to late, the gust has already wrapped around the man holding Jack, and he goes flying backwards.
I swing my leg back, tripping another man, who falls on top of the talk guard, and Jack disappears into thin air.
He did it.

I raise my hands in the air in surrender, allowing the last man standing to grab them, and hold them tightly.

The other men get up, and close the spaces around me.
"Someone call the master," one of them says.

The smaller guard takes out a walkie talkie, and mumbles something into it, before shoving back into his pocket.

"You do anything like that again, I won't hesitate."
He pulls a small gun out of his pocket.

"You can't shoot me, my uncle needs me alive."
"You'll still be alive if I shoot your leg," he says bitterly.

That shut me up.

I continue walking, with two guards holding my hands slowness behind my back, and the other two trailing along silently.

We finally reach another pair of doors, and they open to reveal my uncle.

"I hear the other one has escaped?" He asks the guard.
He nods.
"Shame, he had great potential. Oh well, your still here that's all that matters, right?
Guards you may go. I don't think any more shenanigans will take place."

The guards exit through the doors, and the door clicks shut.

There's an awkward pause before he clears his throat.

"I need you taught by the best, and then I thought, why not family? It will make things more comfortable.
Yeah?"

I don't say anything, and his entire face drops, creating a sad, and hurt look.
I look away, trying not to be tempted by his fake sadness.

"Okay," I say.
His smile returns.

"Listen, I know you think you never want to stay here, or live here, but time will change things, and soon you will learn that it's not so bad here. And I just want you to be happy."

I look at the floor and nod.

"Um...also, I'd like you to meet someone."
