                                (Rue)
"Oh god," I murmur under my breath.
My vision blurs.
They could be looking for anyone, it doesn't have to be me, right?

I lean on the wall of a temple, letting the coldness ease my coming headache.
It's not me, it's not me! ITS NOT ME!!
I try to reassure myself, but I still have a feeling in the bottom of my gut, who else would they be looking for?

I rub my head, then I get the most idiotic, but brilliant idea, that might even get me killed.

I slip through the cracks of my hiding place, around to the death ship. (What I'm calling it now,) and find a single guard leaning against the ship.

"Hi, excuse me, I sorta need to get into that ship."
I stare intensely into his eyes, not breaking my concentration.
"Hey you!" He yells grabbing my wrist hard.
He picks up his walkie talkie, and murmurs into it.
"There's a girl here that looks a lot like-"
I slip inside of him.
"Sorry false alarm, took care of it," I say into the walkie talkie.

I can't believe that worked! Good thing Jack took me to Sialem.

I use my new swipe card to open the door of the ship and slip inside.
"Hey, Bernard where are you going? Aren't you supposed to be on duty?"
I clear my throat.
"Master wants me and you to switch places, he wants you outside."
"Keep watch," he says slipping out.

Thank god that worked.

I quietly strut down the hall, keeping my head held high as I do so. I reach a door that says "Control room," in large letters.
I look down the hallway to make sure no one's there, then open the door, and slip inside.

It's empty, so I continue walking, and come out a hallway to see, large thick tables, and a massive black screen in front of everything.
It' definitely a control room, and I keep getting Star Wars feelings every turn I take, this is definitely the Death Star.
Yep.
I shove myself behind a shelf, when I hear footsteps walking down the hallway.
I cover my mouth, afraid he'll hear me breathing.

"Yes sir, we're getting closer."
"Good, I want my niece to have a warm welcoming when we find her, send troops into the village search for her," the man says rubbing his hands together.
My stomach flips.
I peek slightly behind my shelf, to look at their master, he's light orange hair, looks almost red, in the dim lighting of the control system.
"Yes sir, we'll send them right away."
"How much longer will this take? I'm eager to meet her, we do share the same blood."
"Hopefully soon," the other man says.
And the man leaves, along with his leader.
I remove my hand on my mouth, letting out the breath I had been holding, and peek around the shelf once more, to check for anyone passing by, before I run out of the room.

I have absolutely no idea where she is.

Just think like Rue, what would she do?
What would Rue do?
"Darn!"
"Think like Rue, think like Rue."
Then an idea pops into my head.
When Rue's in doubt, where does she go?
The library.
I call the wind to my side, and let it carry me to the library.

I try to open the doors.
"Locked."
Then I hear yelling coming from inside.
I command the wind to open the door, and as the door clicks open, I rush inside.
"Hello?" I call.

"Hello hello, help!" Says a voice coming from upstairs.
I run up the stairs, and gasp, when I see the librarian, Mr. Mangolo, pinned to the wall.

"Help, please help me."
"Hold on sir," I say, commanding the wind to release him.
"Who did this to you?" I ask.

"Her, that girl, the new one, she's one of them, she trapped me, and left me here.
That little *****"
I sigh.
"Sir, I know her, she's not one of them..."
"Oh but she is!" He cuts me off.
"I saw it with my own eyes, I accidentally knocked down that shelf, and she blocked herself mentally, that-that, girl!"

"SHES NOT ONE OF THEM!" I yell, feeling the need to protect her.
He stares at me bewildered.

"She's in danger, serious danger, so can you please, please tell me where she went?"

He looks at me, deciding his next words carefully.
"She took out a book of all the different villages, says she was going to find some sort of ship?" He says quietly.
"Thank you so so so much, but I'm afraid I'll have to leave you like this, I can't risk you telling anyone."
"Can you at least pass me a book?" He says.
"What???"
"You heard me boy, pass me a book."
I stare at him confused, as I grab the nearest book, and pass it to him.
"What? I've got to stay occupied."

"But you already have one there?"
"Yes, but I finished it already."

I shake my head, then call the wind, and hiss,
"Megalo Naó."
And the wind carries me to the next village.

Village after village, I find nothing, until I reach one where the sky turns black, and thick grey fog covers everything, making the place look like no one's lived here in years.

Black shadows creep over temples, and all windows and doors are locked, and being protected by the strongest winds.
The village must've had to evacuate.

But the thing I don't get, is why we aren't fighting.
Liths are warriors, fighters, yet we do nothing?
If the Elders choose to do nothing, something must be seriously wrong for that to happen.

I creep around corners, and alleyways, hoping, and hoping Rue's okay.
She's tough, tougher than anyone I've ever known.
She'll be okay, just fine.
If I know her like I think I do, she'll already have a plan, a good one.
But I'm still unsure what mine is..
I have absolutely, no ideas on how I'm going to find her.
She could be anywhere.
