Niall James Horan just told you that you were the most important girl in the world. In front of thousands of directioners.
“Could you pinch me?” you asked Niall.
He looked confused, but didn’t question it, and leaned over to pinch you.
You pushed his hand away. “Wait, no don’t. I thought this was a dream but if it is the last thing I want to do is wake up.”
Niall smiled, flashing his braces, and leaned forward some more, kissing you on the cheek. You blushed and looked away, and out of the corner of your eye saw Niall’s guitar sitting in the corner. Niall saw you looking at it, and you turned around to smile at him. He knew exactly what you were thinking. He stood up to grab the guitar, and you asked the viewers,
“What should he sing?”
Tons of tweets came in, but the most popular song seemed to be One Thing. Niall picked up the guitar, placed it on his lap and began to play. He slowed the song down a lot, and even though he was “playing for the fans” he looked right into your eyes as he sang. You could tell he felt every lyric as he sang, and one girl even tweeted that she could see you blushing. Even though you tried to hold back, you could feel your eyes tearing up, and soon enough a couple tears were falling. At that moment, no one was watching you. You didn’t care that there were girls on the other sides of their computers probably crying too, this was between you and Niall, and it was the most amazing thing in the world. You didn’t care that now in front of what seemed like the whole world, or at least your whole directioner family, you were close to sobbing. At one point, you couldn’t tell if Niall was crying too, or if those were just his naturally sparkling eyes. He finished the song, but you two stayed silent for a little while. You both had pretty much forgotten you were tiwitcamming. By the time you had looked back at the computer, over 250,000 viewers were watching you two. Tweets were coming in saying that they had been woken up by their friends in the middle of the night because they “had to watch this twitcam” and they were glad they did. You looked at the screen and saw that you had make up all over your face, so you kissed Niall on the cheek and ran to the bathroom to clean up.
From in the bathroom, you could hear Niall laughing. You would never be able to get over that laugh. He was answering questions, and you heard your name a couple times. You decided to take out your phone and log into twitter, and already you had a couple thousand followers, after having your twitter for like 20 minutes. You realized the whole “I will follow you back” thing would be a little difficult.
You walked back out to the living room (you still couldn’t get over the fact there was a “living room” in this hotel room. Two actually). Niall was still answering some questions, and when you sat down, he noticed you were wearing no makeup at all.
“Katie, you look amazing!”
You knew you didn’t look amazing. You didn’t have awful skin, and your eyelashes were dark enough to be seen without mascara, but makeup definitely helped. You were confident though, and you weren’t going to deny a compliment from Niall.
“Thank you”, you said, smiling.
Niall continued, “Most girls would never go in front of so many people without make up on, but obviously it’s not like you have anything to be insecure about.”
“Well I mean if someone like you, likes someone like me, and I can’t be confident without wearing makeup, how am I supposed to be a role model and show these girls that they’re beautiful without make up too! And none of them are just potatoes.”
