"She's barely breathing, but we're trying our best." The doctor announced.

"Please," I cried and grabbed the man's coat. "Please, do everything you can to save her."

"I will, Mr Tomlinson."

"Lou, let him go." Lottie instructed and took my hands away from the doctor. The man pursed his lips and straightened his coat before rushing into the surgery room.

"I need to see her." I whimpered.

My other siblings were crying too, especially the younger ones. I extended my arms and they came running towards me, bawling their eyes and crying very loudly.

I hugged them tight and forced myself not to cry. I needed to be strong. For them.

Harry has sent a few messages, and when the little ones had fallen asleep, I weakly took out my phone and read his texts.

I'm here for you if you need me.

Just call me whenever, time's not a problem for me.

Stay strong, Lou.

I wish I could be there right now.

I wish I could give you a tight hug, and tell you everything's gonna be alright.

I wish I was there with you.

I closed my eyes as the tears started to roll down my cheeks again. Lottie came back with two cups of coffee, and she handed one to me. Her make-up was smeared and her eyes swollen like mine. We were both in a mess.

"It's been a while," She said softly as she sat next to me on the cold tiled floor. "And here I am thinking the next time we'll meet is during my wedding."

"No one knew this would happen." I answered bluntly.

"Lou," She held my hand and gently squeezed it. "I'm scared."

I am, too, Lottie.

But I was too tired to speak anymore.

When the doctor finally came out, I was expecting good news, but from the way his expression looked, I knew it was over.

He looked at us, all of us, with a pained look and disappointment in his eyes.

Even without him saying a word, I already knew the answer.

Then I snapped.
