chapter 21

Adriana's POV

I woke by the sound of my alarm and it's super annoying...but I need to get up.

I check my alarm clock and it's only 8:57 am but I got out of bed and choose a clothes to wear.

me and my mom will be going to meet someone from paris because she's asking if my mom wants to continue her work there with her...and mom isn't sure about that yet but I don't even know why am I suppose to join mom in paris...

I grab my towel and take a bath...

I walk out of the bathroom and take my clothes on.

I brush my hair, and put a light make up, fix my bag and grab my phone

then I walk downstairs where mom is waiting for me.

"let's go, mom?" I ask then she nods

then we hed to the car and drove off.

I can say she's nervous I don't know why but I can see on her face she is.

"everything okay mom?" I ask "yup just a bit nervous" she replied "that's okay mom, I'll support you" I said smiling at her.

Mom parked the car and we hed inside the restaurant.

we saw this blonded hair girl writing something on her planner I guess...so we walk towards her and I think she noticed us so she stands up to greet us

"hi, you must be Mrs. Jessica presley" she said "yes" mom replied "please sit" she said then we both sit and listen to her

they have this conversation that I can't relate to but still listening, then my phone started to ring

"uhm exuse me" I said in soft tone leaving the two of them.

I check my phone and Justin's name appears so I swipe to answer the call

*phone call*

justin: good morning Adri
me: good morning Justin
Justin:so you coming over?
me:yup, later afternoon
Justin:okay, bye love you
me:love you too

then I hang up and walk back to where mom is.

"thank you, have a good day Mrs. presley" she said smiling shaking mom's hand "you too" mom replied smiling back then leave.

we hopped in the car and I ask mom what's all about the conversation

"so mom what did she say?" I ask "she said that If I agree working with her in paris it's only 3 months and... " she said but didn't finish "and what?" I ask looking at her "and I agree with her" she finished "wow that's great mom, but when is it?" I ask smiling "on march 9th" she replied then my face turns to a frown

"ohh, do I have to come with you?" I ask "of course sweetie, I can't just leave you alone in the house" she replied " but I can stay in Pattie's place " I suggested "I can't sweetie you need to come" she said then I just nod and look at the window...

why do I even need to come? I mean I can stay in Pattie's house while she's there, but she didn't agree...uhhh May isn't that close but hello it's February.

mom park the car in the driveway and I hop out and just sit in the couch playing with my phone

"sweetie I'm sorry, I know you'll miss Justin but-" she said but i cut her off "it's okay mom, don't think about it, it's fine" I said still looking at my phone

"alright, let's go lunch is ready" she said smiling then I nod following her to the dining room.

then we started eating...

after eating I quickly get my bag and my phone, ready to walk to Pattie's house

"mom I'm going to Justin's place" I yell while she's in the kitchen "alright sweetie, bye love you" she screamed "love you too" I screamed before leaving the house...
