Chapter 40

Adriana's POV

"you can put the blindfold off" I heard Justin said, I untie my blindfold then blink a couple times to clear my vision.

my jaw drop when I saw a table with two chairs and candles that are positioned in a heart shape around the table.

Justin wrapped his arms around my waist from behind then rest his head on my right shoulder

"do you like it?" he ask "I love it" I replied happily

I turned around then wrap my arms around his neck "thank you" I said with our faces are just inches away "you're welcome babe" He replied then kiss my nose then my lips

I smiled through the kiss then pulled away.

we walk towards the table and Justin pulled the chair for me to sit,what a gentleman, then he walk to his chair and sit.

"waiter" Justin said calling the waiter, the waiter suddenly pops up in our side "please serve the foods" he said then the waiter nodded.

the waiter gives us the foods then we started eating.

"Adri" Justin said then I look at him "yea?" I ask "can you be my date for tomorrow's prom?" he ask them I smiled "of course babe" I replied then he smiled.

we continue eating and talk  about random stuff.

then when we're done eating, Justin stood up.

"wanna go for a walk?" he ask then I nodded and smiled

I stood up and held his hand "wait" I said "what?" he ask, I didn't respond instead I removed my heels and held it with my free hand.

"let's go" I said smiling.

while we are walking close to the water, Justin spoke

"Hey Adri"he said then I looked at him "what?" I ask "I'll show you something" he replied

"what is-" I ask but he cut me off by lifting me up into bridal style then I dropped my heels "Justin!" I scream but he ignored me and ran to the water.

oh boy...

"Just-" I scream but cut off because Justin just threw me on water.

my mouth turns to "o" shape and I saw Justin laughing so hard

I glared at him "what so funny?" I ask but he didn't respond, I think of an Idea

"I guess I'm not going with you tomorrow at prom" I said then he stopped laughing

"what?!" he ask surprised "yea" I said "okay" he said in sad tone.

"let's go it's getting late" he said "how can I hop in your car if I'm wet?" I ask "I have sweatpants and a T-shirt in the car let's go" he replied

I walk towards him and grab my heels.

we walk towards the car then I stay outside while Justin grab the clothes so I can wear it.

he gave me his clothes then I went in the car while he stayed outside so I can change.

after that I signalled him that I'm done so he can go in.

he started the engine and open the air-condition.

woah it's cold

"you okay?" he ask "it's cold" I replied "here" he said then gave me his jacket

I smiled "thanks babe" I said then he smiled back I cam smell his scent...

"I love your smell" I said then he just smile "you okay?" I ask "yea yea" he replied

"oh Justin, what I told you earlier about the prom that I can't come with you..." I said "go on" he said

"I'm just joking, that's why I said that because I want you to stop laughing at me" I said

"that's not a good way to stop me from laughing" he replied "I'm sorry" I said with my heads down

he held my hand "it's okay" he said then I smiled

I soon fell asleep.

"Adri, we're here" I heard Justin said, I slowly open my eyes and I saw we just reach the house "I'll just gonna carry you up to your room, I know you're already tired" he said then I smiled

he lifted me bridal style then I put my arms around his neck while I continue to sleep in his chest.

then suddenly he put me in my bed and kissed my forehead

"goodnight babe" he said softly "goodnight Jay" I replied then he walk out of the room and I fell into a deep sleep.
