-2 days later (Saturday night)-

-Your POV-

"Brother Loki and I used to do that all the time!" Thor finished a story. "I also remember when he would try to kill me on multiple occasions!" He chuckled, starting a new one.

After about 15 minutes of Thor telling a bunch of stories, Wanda, thank God, cut him off.

"All right, thanks Steve and Bucky for cooking," she smiled.

They nodded, and high-fived each other. Dorks.

"So, any plans for the rest of the night?" My dad asked, turning to me.

"Nope. Why?"

"Ok. Good. We're going out for drinks, so you and Peter can stay here," he glanced at Peter, who was sitting next to me, and winked at him.

I saw Peter blush profusely out of the corner of my eye.

Wow, he's adorable.

And I remembered my plan to ditch him, and push those thoughts to the back of my head.

~~~
After everyone left, I went to my bedroom and locked the door.
I decided on taking a long bath to relax, as school is starting soon. Not that I'll have trouble with the work, but I don't want to deal with bullies and mean girls and shit.
After I finish, I put on some pyjamas and walked over to my bed.
The lip balm I was applying to my lips look through my fingers, rolling under my bed.
"Dammit," I mumbled.
I bent down and stuck my arm under my bed. I noticed there was a box, which I knew wasn't there before. It was an old Nike shoebox.
I opened it, and peered inside. I looked and saw a bunch of 'keepsakes' and pictures.
There were pictures from when I was younger with Amanda and Casey. Some of them we were all smiling, some of them we were all frowning, some of them we were all laughing.
It wasn't until years later that I knew they were faking all those emotions. Except the negative ones.
I felt a lump in my throat appear as I looked at one of them.
It was a picture of me and my mom. I was around four years old, near the time when my dad became Iron Man.
We were both smiling, sitting on a leather couch.
Bullshit.
As soon as my dad introduced the world to Iron Man, my mom left him. I had learned shortly after that she was cheating on my dad for years, with some hippy dude.
She left Tony Stark for Jack Filgan. What kind of name is that? I can't remember the last time I saw her. To be honest, I can't I don't even know the last time I thought about her.
Now, I'm pissed. I mean, who leaves their child and husband like that?!
Whenever I think about her, I get really sad.
I hate feeling weak and crying, so I tried to hold it all the tears in, but I couldn't.
I felt hot tears run down my cheeks, as I let a sob escape my throat.
I tried to keep quiet, because I knew Peter was just across the hall. But, I failed.
"Y/N?" I heard him say, knocking on my door.
