I put on my sound cancelling headphones, and started playing with one of the loops I'd made.
"Oh, ohhhhhh, ohhh, ohhhhhhhhhhh," I sang into the microphone. I added other notes and sounds, until I was happy with the beat.
"I wish I was your comfort, I'd build you a nest you'd be my blue bird, I'd shut out the world that don't deserve you, and I'd make you a home, a home, a home, a home," I sang, one of my favourite songs. It was Chinese restaurant, by Scott Helman.
In my opinion, he's a really underrated artist. His album, Hôtel De Ville, is amazing. No one I know really knows who he is, which sucks. I can't share my appreciation with anyone.
Once I was done, I took my headphones off, and took a sip of water. Damn, my throat is dry and aching now.
"Wow," I heard someone mutter.
I whipped my head around, to see Peter leaning against the door with his arms crossed.
"Wh-wha-"
"Chinese restaurant? Good song," he smiled. "I didn't think anyone knew Scott Helman besides me.
"H-how long have you been standing there?" I croaked.
"Since you started," he smirked.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me. I should've locked the doors," I hid my head in my hands, embarrassed.
"Why? And how come you didn't tell me you sang?" He asked, pulling up a chair and sitting beside me.
"I haven't told anyone. Ever."
"Well, you're really fucking good. You have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard."
"Thanks, Peter," I blushed. "Anyways, please don't tell anyone."
"Your secret is safe with me," he chuckled. "Got anything I could listen to? Of yours?"

We spent almost the whole day in the studio, messing around with tracks.
I still wondered how he found this room. It's at the almost very top of the building, and it's sound proof.
"How did you find me?" I asked.
"Wha- oh, shit," he mumbled, tripping over a cord. "You never saw that, got it?"
"Ok," I tried to say. I probably failed, because I was laughing so hard. "How did you know I was in here?"
"Your dad told me. Why?"
"M-my dad?"
"Yea."
"Er, uh, how did he know?"
"He said you're always up there so he told me to check. Is something wrong? You're being weird."
He looked at me with those, concerning, puppy dog eyes.
"Uhhhh-" Come on, snap out of it! "Yeah it's good, I just didn't know he knew."
"Oh. Anyways, are excited for tonight? First time and all?"
"Fuck yes. I tried on my suit, I love it so much. And it's not girly, or anything stupid so that good." I laughed.
"True. And, we need to figure out a name for you, too."
"Oh yeah," I remembered. Damnit, this'll be hard."How about we just focus on that later. Let's just be, superheroes. Saving people, just for tonight. Well worry about that later."
"Ok."
"Ok."
I checked my phone, to see what the time was.
"Shit, it's 6:00pm. Wanna go get something to eat and then head out?"
"Sure," he grinned. I could tell, he was really excited.
(A/N): sorry, this one is super super short, I just didn't want to put the last one and this chapter into one, so I spilt them up.
