Peter and I walked to our next class, which was chemistry.

We sat down at one of the tables, with Ned joining us and started chatting, waiting for the teacher to come in.

Once the teacher and all the students arrived, class started.

"Ok, class. We're starting a project," he explained what we had to do. Sounded easy enough. "I'm also choosing your partners."

That earned a bunch of loud groans from the class.

He rambled on, calling out all the pairings.

"Grant and Porteous, Parker and Leeds,"

Obviously. Peter and Ned did their handshake thing.

"And lastly, Romanoff and Thompson."

"Who's that?" I whispered to Peter.

"Flash," he sighed, looking sorry for me.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me," I said back.

"Romanoff! Anything you want to share with the class?" Mr Turcotte yelled at me.

"Sure," I sarcastically snapped back. "Anything specific?"

"One more time, and you're going to the principals office," he glared at me.

"Yes, sir," I replied, saluting him.

(A/N): even tho you aren't wearing that lol

I looked over to Peter, to see him laughing his ass off, trying to contain it.

"Mr Parker, you too?"

"N-no, sir," he stuttered, still trying not to laugh.

Everyone went to go sit with their partners, while I walked over to Flash.

"Hey, pretty lady," he said. I blushed.

"Hi."

"Look i'm sorry for the way I treated Peter," He apologized. "I was just jealous. You seem like a really cool girl."

He put his head on my arm, and I flinched bit.

"It's ok, but Peter and I are friends and if we are going to be friends too, then you've got to be nicer."

"I will," he assured me. "I promise."

We started discussing what to do with our project, until we finally decided on something.

-Peter's POV-

Every once in a while, I would glance over to Y/N.

Her and Flash were laughing, talking about something funny.

If only she knew.

She didn't know the type of guy flash was, and I couldn't tell her.

She would hate me if I ruined that for her.

Ned caught me staring a couple times. Hopefully no one else noticed.

"Hey, man?"

"What?" I whipped my head around to face him.

"I said, wanna hangout after school? I have the new Lego millennium falcon."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, sure," I replied. Ned knew about me being Spiderman, obviously. He also knew about me living at Stark tower.

We made plans to meet at 'my place' at around six.

I grabbed out my phone, and texted Y/N.

[Peter] Hey

[Y/N] Hey?

[Peter] Wanna hang out with Ned and i after school?

[Y/N] Cant. Flash and i have plans, sry.

[Peter] oh. ok

The rest of the class I just stared at my hands, and Ned seem to notice how down I was.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"Nothing, let's just get back to work."

-Your POV-

So Flash asked me out. I figured, why not? He only did one mean thing, and he probably meant it as a joke. Plus, he seemed really sweet.

We were going to see a movie, at five.

The rest of the day was pretty normal, and Happy drove Peter and I home.

He seemed a bit off, almost sad.

"Hey, are you good?" I asked, putting my hand on his shoulder.

I were sitting on his bed, finishing our math work.

"Yeah, I'm fine," he mumbled.

"Ok," I said. I didn't want to pry, so I just let him be.

"I'm gonna go get ready. Have fun with Ned," I said to Peter, grabbing my stuff.

"Have a nice time,"

"Thanks," I smiled at him. He smiled back, but I could tell it was forced.

It was 4 and I had some time to kill before I had to leave.

I decided on curling my hair a bit.

Once I was ready, I went to look for Clint.

"Clint!" I yelled throughout the living room. Whenever the school, or someone needed my dad, we used Clint to stand in. "Can we go?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm coming," he sighed, getting up from the couch and grabbing his keys.

"Bye dad! Just going to hang out with a friend!" I exclaimed, walking through the door.

There's no harm in one little lie, right?
