Fight for Love: Chapter 20

The feeling of his warmth being pulled away from my body just makes me want more. It's almost like my body and mind is craving his touch, his warmth, him. I can see the happiness shining in his cerulean hues and it just makes me smile up at him.

"I love you, too."

He whispers and my smile broadens with happiness that dances in my emerald eyes. The words that just left his mouth is almost unbelievable and if it wasn't for the feeling of his lips on mine, again. I wouldn't have believed it. My world falls away again, the exhaustion that was in my body is forgotten and it's only the feeling of lips against mine. Our lips move together in perfect sync, his hands move down from my face to rest on my hips as he pulls me flush up against him. I smile into the kiss, tightening my hold on his neck.

In a desperate need of oxygen I pull my lips away and rest my forehead against his; leaving my eyes shut so I can bask in his radiant warmth for a couple precious moments longer.

He chuckles and I can feel his eyes on my face,"Left you breathless?" He asks and I can hear the cockiness in his tone.

I open my eyes then roll them,"Oh so cocky."

He chuckles again,"I apologize, it's just, when I'm with you I can't think straight."

I smile,"Good,"I whisper,"I wouldn't want you thinking too straight." I stand up on my toes to brush my lips against his and I welcome the gentle shocks and shivers that race down my body.

"Goddamn stop sucking each other's faces off!" Levi's aggravated tone causes the two of us to look over at the shorter male. He is standing on the roof across from us, his hands placed on his hips and his smoldering gaze is burning on us.

"Aw, Levi!" Hanji whines as she lands on the roof next to him, a crazed smile on her face,"They're so cute together! Leave them be!"

"With Titans running around! Fuck no, I won't leave then be." Levi snaps.

Hanji clicks her tongue in disappointment,"Levi, stop being so-"

"So, what? I swear if it was something discriminating I will feed you to your Titan friends." Levi glares at her.

She smiles,"You'll never know!" She says then hops off the roof to land in front of us, she claps her hands and giggles,"I'm so glad you two finally decided to tell each other your feelings!"

"Wait,"Erwin says as he twists us toward her, keeping one of his arms around my waist mostly for support because he noticed my exhaustion,"You two knew?"

"Of course we did you blubbering idiot!" Levi growls as he hops to stand next to Hanji,"You both made it so damn obvious I'm surprised everybody else doesn't know."

"Ah Levi, always so up lifting." I say with a wry smile.

Erwin's hand tightens on my hip,"He always is, isn't he?" He chuckles.

"Shut up you," Levi snaps as he narrows his eyes at me,"I'm not exactly happy with you." Even though his eyes are burning into mine his tone is gentler.

I shrug and rest my head on Erwin's chest fighting the urge to fall asleep.

"Well anyway," Hanji says as she rocks back on her heels,"Pixis said he wants to speak with you Erwin."

Erwin sighs clearly not happy,"Okay tell him I will be there as soon as the situation is permitting."

Hanji nods and jumps into the air to grapple back toward Pixis; Levi clicks his tongue at the two of is before pulling the triggers on his maneuvering gear to follow her.
