As I got farther away from Lucy, I started to speedwalk to my next class. Lucy had wasted a bit of my time, though it didn't really matter. My next class was a bit far, but I didn't mind. I got to the class in time.
For my next few classes, none of my friends were in them. I still saw some people I knew, and some friends that I wasn't that close with.
...
The end of the day came. Nothing interesting happened during the day after that, of course, just more classes and assignments and homework. I walked out of the building, going down hallways and staircases. I was happy to walk to my dorm and see Anahi and Nairi. I reached my door, and I got out my keys, unlocking it. I heard talking and laughing coming from the living room. I walked towards the sounds.
I saw Lukas on the couch, talking to Anahi and Nairi.
"Hey, Amanda!", Nairi waved to me.
Lukas looked over at me and smiled.
"Lukas was just telling us that--", Anahi started talking, but stopped herself, and looked at Lukas, "Nevermind."
Lukas got out of his seat, "Welp, bye girls, nice talking to you. Amanda, go put your stuff away."
I was a little confused, but I walked to my room to put my stuff down. I opened the door to my room and set down my books and other things. I quickly changed. I changed into some shorts that went down to my knees. The shirt I put on was a loose gray shirt. The material of the shirt was very soft. It was too big on me, and sometimes it fell off one of my shoulders.
I walked out of the room, and into the living room. I stared at Lukas expectantly.
"Come on then.", He said.
He smiled at me and led me out of the dorm.
"Bye, guys!", I quickly said as Lukas dragged me out the door.
"Where are you taking me?", I asked.
My tone sounded a bit stubborn. I was just really tired.
"You'll find out soon."
"Okay, okay..."
He pushed me into the passenger's seat of his car, and he got in on the drivers' side.
...
We had been driving a bit longer than I expected. When we finally pulled into the parking lot, I had already fallen asleep. I was tired from doing work at school.
"Hop out.", He told me, shaking me awake.
I nodded slowly and got out. I saw Olive Garden.
"Oooh~ Fancy...", I waved my arms sarcastically.
He laughed, and pushed me, making me walk forward.
...
We walked out of Olive Garden, and I sighed. We actually had a good time. We were mid-conversation. Something about my friends. We walked back to the car and hopped in.
"One more place to go.", Lukas said.
I groaned jokingly, to which Lukas punched me in the arm.
We drove for a bit until we got to a place which I was not expecting. A mountain, with a cliff on the edge, that started out onto the starry night sky. The view from the cliff was indescribable, so beautiful...
"It's pretty.", I said stupidly, filled with awe.
"I know.", He laughed.
I sat down on the edge of the cliff, followed by Lukas doing the same. I smiled at him. Who knew my soulmate would be so perfect.
