Another Hangout

I had eventually fallen asleep on my bed. I woke up to Nairi shaking me.

"Get up, we're bored.", She said.

"Why do I have to get up because you guys are bored?"

"We wanted to go out somewhere."

"Again?"

"I guess so."

The last time we had gone out somewhere, it didn't go so well. I mumbled to myself and stumbled out of bed. I went into the bathroom and brushed my hair, and again, I didn't bother putting it up. I walked back out and went into the living room.

"Where are we going this time?", I asked.

"We wanted you to decide?", Sam said.

"Why me?"

"You seem sort of down. We wanted you to pick where you wanted to go.", Kaylee said.

"Fine then. I want to go to a quiet place, somewhere with water. Like, a lake, maybe. I want to invite Lukas and Harold as well.", I said.

"You always did like water, didn't you?", Kaylee said.

"Should I call them up?", Anahi asked.

I nodded, and she grabbed her phone. She went to her contacts, and tapped 'Harold'. I heard a small ringing noise, and Harold picked up. Anahi put it on speakerphone.

"Hello, Anahi. What do you want?", Harold asked.

"We were wondering if you wanted to hang out?", Anahi responded.

"Who is 'we'?", He asked.

"Me, Amanda, Nairi, Kaylee, Sam, and maybe Lukas."

"Oh, alright..? Where are we going?"

"A quiet place, somewhere with water. Like, a lake.", She quoted what I said.

"Sounds good. Should I drop by your place to figure everything out?"

"Yup. Bye. See ya soon, Harold."

"Mhm, see ya."

Anahi hung up. She then scrolled down her contacts and went to 'Lukas'. I heard another ringing noise. Anahi put speakerphone on again. He picked up.

"Hello?", Lukas asked.

"Hey. Me, Amanda, Nairi, Kaylee, Sam, and Harold were wondering if you wanted to hang out?"

"Where?"

"Somewhere quiet, with water. Probably a lake. It's nothing formal."

"Sure, I'll go. When is it?"

"Stop by our dorm. We'll figure everything out once you and Harold get here."

"Alright then. Bye."

He hung up, not waiting for Anahi to say goodbye.

"Alright, we got both of them in.", Anahi said cheerfully, putting her phone down, "Since Lukas lives close, in another dorm, he should be here soon. Harold's gonna take longer."

I sat down on the couch, crossing my arms. I don't know why I decided that I wanted to invite Lukas. Maybe I just wanted to make up or something.

Lukas arrived a few minutes later. He had a small smile plastered on his face. I don't know why.

I stood still as Lukas came to the couch, and sat next to me.

He was planning something.

Harold knocked on the door while we were all having a conversation. I went to the door and opened it.

I smiled.

"Hey, guys!", He said as he walked in.

Anahi threw up a peace sign. Nairi smiled, and so did Kaylee. Lukas just kept the same expression as before.

"So, are we just going to go to the closest lake, or what?", Harold asked.

"Which one is the most peaceful?", I ask.

"Any, really. As long as there's nothing that's going to interupt us.", Lukas answered.

"Let's just go find one, guys.", I said, shrugging.

We all got up and went outside.
