Song: Rat A Tat *Warning! This song is explicit, but it's my favorite on off the album.*
Artist: Fall Out Boy
Wednesday
I shut my locker, as the hall is filled with yelling, laughing, and whispers. I get seriously frustrated when all I hear beside me are hushed voices, talking about the latest gossip.
"Oh my god, did you hear? Rayleen had a panic attack yesterday! Is she okay?" Helen whispers to Margaret.
"Yeah, I texted her last night, but she never replied to me.." Margaret said in a hushed voice so people around them wouldn't hear. I quickly rush past them, and reach the door.
"Chael. Wait." Mr. Alexander pulls me back a bit so he could talk to me. I start to get nervous.
"Y-yes, Mr. Alexander?" I say in a small voice.
"Meet me in my room at morning recess. I need to talk to you." I frown, and fiddle with my fingers.
"I have to help Mrs. Maison at morning recess though." My voice is barely above a whisper. Mr. Alexander copies the volume of my voice.
"What?" He teases me. My cheeks feel warmer now, as I repeat myself a bit louder this time.
"I have to help Mrs. Maison this morning recess." I say louder. I feel someone tap my foot. I turn around and see Bella holding a ton of binders and papers.
"Margaret, Kellain, and I can handle the library just fine without you. You can stay with Mr. Alexander at recess, and we'll tell Mrs. Maison." Bella walks in, as I feel an empty void in my chest.
"Okay. They don't need me at the library anymore, so I'll stay behind." I feel tears prick my eyes as I rush in and sit in my seat. I pull out a book and start to read. An uncomfortable feeling settles into my chest, like a void that swallows up anything that comes in it's way. We read for a while, as 9:00 rolls around the corner. We start our assignment, and all I have to do is finish writing my third paragraph. I grit my teeth as I hear Bella and Margret talk about each other.
"Oh my god! You're writing is so good, it makes me want to restart mine!" Bella exclaimed at Margaret, who obviously had to smile, and boast about it.
"Of course! I probably have the best writing out everyone here. No offence to you, Bella. You'd probably come in 2nd." Margaret and Bella go on and on, as Harris notices my frustration.
"Are you okay...?" Harris speaks slowly.
Of course not.
"Yep, yep. Totally fine. Juuussst fine." I say dryly. Harris frowns, and goes back to writing. Madam comes in for French, as Margaret and Bella say goodbye to each other, and listen to the French lesson today. I grab the book that is resting on my binder, and start reading it. French is over soon, as the hand of the clock reaches 10. Madam gives us 5 minutes to get ready, which is great, because we don't have to listen to her drone on about how no one listens to her. Mr. Alexander walks into the classroom, and sits down at a chair in front of the projector table. As soon as most of the kids file outside the school building, the bell rings. I walk over to him, as he smiles at me.
"Hello, Chael." Mr. Alexander starts off. I take a a small breath.
"H-hello." I say in a small voice. I wasn't very fond of talking to teachers because I knew if I did, I'd probably mess up somewhere in my sentence.
"So.. I've been noticing your behaviour, not that it's bad and all, but it could ruin your grade if it continues. So, I'm just going to ask you a few questions, okay?" I shift slightly, and nod at his request.
