"Oh shove off, Seria. What part of busy do you not understand?" I wave the annoying girl out of my view. She's persistent, I'll give her that. Still doesn't give her an excuse for being absolutely irritating. It's almost dismissal and I didn't have the patience today to deal with her. It was a free period to finish whatever you needed to complete, or to sit back, relax, and be as annoying as possible. Unfortunately, Seria took the latter instead of completing her English homework.
"Save it. You're nothing but a pathetic excuse for a human being." I was about to slap her. Really close, in fact- my hand was only inches away from her pathetic excuse of a face. I composed myself, and laid back into my chair, sighing deeply.
"You're really giving me a headache here, honestly. Don't you have something better to do with your time. Maybe, finish up your English homework? That might be a better thing to do rather than bothering me all the time. By the way, there's an error in your page that's really throwing me off. Pay attention in class, and maybe you might excel in English a little more." I twirled a pencil in my left hand while tapping along to a beat with my feet. She decided to kick my shin really hard underneath the table. I groaned in pain and swore under my breath. Seria giggled and threw a devilish smile at me, while playing with the ring on her right hand. Then Helena walked over.
"What are you guys doing? Seria, are you settling in here nicely?" She smiled very sweetly at her, it almost seemed fake. But anybody who knew her for more than a year knew what that smile meant.
"Yeah, I'm settling down here fine. In fact, me and Chael-"
"It's supposed to be Chael and I, not me and Chael-" I interjected, but Helena nudged my foot, probably to tell me to shut up.
"You've become friends? That's awesome! I was wondering, did any of your friends ever kick you in the shin, or call you a suicidal freak?" Seria instantly paled as Helena grinned like the Cheshire Cat.
"H-How did you-"
"Dear, you talk too loud for your own good. Besides, I was already coming over here, so I wouldn't be too suprised. You're really lucky I told Chael not to break any of your limbs. Otherwise, you'd probably be in the ER right now." Helena was on a roll right now, and honestly, I like this version of her better.
"You're crazy." Seria leaned away from her. Helena just smiled.
"You've got no idea, sweetheart."
"S-Stay away from me, you psycho!" I looked around the class, which was pretty hectic right now. The boys were huddled into a group, probably playing on their phones or something. The others were either reading, or gaming as well. Mr. Alexander wasn't in the room either, so I sat back and let Helena run her course.
"Now, now. Calling people names was so two years ago. Besides, is "psycho" the best insult you could come up with? How pathetic of you. So listen here, mutt. You're going to apologize to my friend here, or I'm going to let her snap all 300 bones in your body, got that?" I gave her my signature glare and she backed away instantly, leaving me alone. I high-fived Helena as soon as Seria left the table, either in fear, or defeat. Perhaps Helena wasn't such a bad person after all.

The dismissal bell rung sooner than I had anticipated, and I wasn't expecting Breezy to show up outside either.
"Hey, Breeze. What are you doing all the way out here?" I asked her as we bought some ice-cream and sat in the shade of the large tree beside the parking lot.
"What, I can't visit my best friend anymore?" She teased me. I laughed, and ate the cold treat. Breezy took a little bit of hers and wiped some on my nose. I pouted and she giggled.
"Breezy! Come here, I'm gonna give you a taste of your own medicine!" Breezy jumped up off the ground and started running. I was quick in pursuit, but she eventually outran me.
"Ugh... I give up! I can't do this anymore. It's too hot out here, and I'm tired." I flopped onto a bench in the nearby park, wiping off the ice cream from my face.
"Alright, we can take a five minute break then. It's really nice outside today." She smiled as she gazed at the large clouds above us.
"What do we have here? Suicidal freak and her ugly looking girlfriend." My head snapped up to face whoever said that. Of course it would be Seria. Nothing ever gets through that thick skull of hers.
"You take that back." I stomped towards the smug looking girl. Breezy quickly ran after me, trying to get me to stop.
"Why? Did I hit a nerve with you? Jeez, you really are pathetic. Can't even take a joke, can you? Maybe that's why you don't have any friends here. I bet all your friends would be happier without you, b*tch." I was infuriated now. Breezy stepped between us, glaring hard at Seria.
"Who the f*ck are you to tell her that? You're despicable. I your parents really f*cked up to have a child like you. Honestly, I can see why she hates you. Now get the f*ck out of my sight, you sh*thead." Breezy told her off. I saw Seria beginning to move her arm to slap her, so I moved in front of Breezy to block it. I was a little shorted than Seria, but the back of her hand connected with temple and my head was thrown back with the force. Something cold sliced though my eyebrow, and a thin red line started forming. My vision was blurry, and everything was too bright when I opened my eyes.
"Chael?! Are you okay? Oh man, your eyebrow... Hold still, I'm going to wipe the blood off. You really are stupid to take that blow. You're lucky she hits like a little kid." Breezy dabbed a tissue she found in her pocket at my eyebrow. I blinked away the spots dancing in my eye.
"Uhm. What happened?" I asked, seeing no sign of Seria. Breezy helped me up off the ground, and brushed off the dead grass that was sticking to my pants.
"After she hit you, that little snitch ran home like a coward. Chael, why didn't you tell me this was happening?"
"Its not like you could do anything to her. Besides, it doesn't matter what she says. It doesn't hurt." I shrugged.
Liar.
