"Good Morning Madam."

Tinanguan ko lang lahat ng bumabati sakin. I walked straight to the elevator. Pagtapak ko palang sa tapat ng elevator, nagsilayuan yung ibang empleyado at binigyan ako ng daan. Pagsakay ko ng elevator, walang kahit isang sumabay sakin. Dapat lang. That's my #1 rule. Ayaw ko ng may kasabay ako sa elevator. Kaya sa ayaw at sa gusto nila, susundin nila yun.
My company. My rules.
When I reached the top floor dumeretso agad ako sa office ko. Dalawang office lang yung nandito sa floor na to. Saakin, which is for the CEO of the company and the other one for the President of the company, that happens to be Calex.
"What's my sched for today Mae?" I asked my secretary.
"Here's your sched for today Mam Jill. Board meeting at 10:00 AM for the presentation of Architect Lim, then you have to visit the site of Mon Amour at 2:00 PM and lastly you have a dinner date with Mr. Marco at 7:00 PM." Sabi niya sakin.
"Dinner. Its not a Dinner date." I simply said to her. "You may leave and please prepare for the board meeting. That's in 10 mins."
"Yes Mam."
I sat on my chair and review some papers that needs to be signed. I was busy signing the financial statements regarding the new hotel that we will have when someone suddenly entered my office.
“Good morning Babes. Here’s your coffee.” Sabi sakin ni Calex.
Its like his routine every morning, dadaan siya ng office ko na may dalang Caramel Macchiato ng Starbucks dahil alam niyang yun ang favorite ko.
“Thanks.” I grabbed the coffee from my table and take a sip of it.
“Lets go. Board meeting in 5.” Sabi niya sakin.
Kinuha ko na yung mga gamit ko at nilagay sa bag ko. Calex is gentleman enough to hold my bag for me kaya siya na ang may dala.
Pagpasok namin sa conference room, apat nalang kaming kulang. Ako, si Calex, si Mae at yung Head ng Finance Department. Umupo na ko sa pinakagitna ng table, umupo naman si Calex sa left side ko at si Mae sa right ko. Mae’s with me to take down notes for the minutes.
A little later, dumating na yung Head ng Finance, si Ruiz, na pawis na pawis at halatang nagtatakbo paakyat dito. Tinignan ko yung relo ko, it’s 10:02 AM.
“Good Morning to you Ms. Ruiz. What time is our meeting again?” I asked her.
“10:00 AM Mam.” She said.
“And its 10:02 AM, you are two minutes late Ms. Cause of Delay. You dont let your boss wait for you.”
