I had been running the maze for 6 hours, with 5 mini minute brakes. I decided to take a lunch brake. I sat down against a wall and took out a sandwich and a apple. I ate silently, not hearing anything, but the sound of birds chirping. After I finished my sandals, I started to stand up, to do some stretches, but something caught my eye.

On the opposite wall, on the floor, was a piece of paper. I hesitantly walked over. I crouched down and picked up the paper. It had words on it.

'We want you back.'

"What the shuck?!" I muttered. Suddenly, I heard and felt the concrete moving. The ground beneath me, was starting to move. 'What is going on?!'

I turned and grabbed my bag and started running. I glanced behind me and saw the ground cracking behind me. I ran faster. I was about 10 feet from where the cracks were, but they seemed to be following me. I focused on running faster and turning the corners.

I took a right, then left, then right again. I could hear the ground behind me. In that moment I remembered when I first had gotten to the glade, how I thought 'how dangerous could it be?!' Well, I think I found my answer.
I was going to be running for awhile.

*3 hours later*

Well a few hours ago, I finally lost the 'cracking maze' (that was what I was calling it) Even thought I had lost it, I hadn't stopped running, because I was afraid that it would come back.

'Klunk...' I thought, 'I'm exhausted.'

I cautiously stopped running and slid down the huge cold maze wall. I was panting, gasping for air. I took off my bag and looked into it.

"Shuck..." I muttered, when I didn't find my water in the bag. 'Great! I'm stuck out here, without water.' I sighed. I looked over to the maze floor and saw a beetle blade next to me. I glared at it.I wonder if Minho had any problems. Did the same thing happen to him?

"I hope your happy." I said to the beetle blade. It scurried away. I let my head rest in my hands. I was a sweaty mess and the heat seemed to keep getting hotter.

I silently made a plan of what I was going to do when I got back to the glade.

1. I was going to get water.
2. Tell Nick what happened.
3. Take a shower.
5. Fall into bed.

Sounded easy enough to me. 'Wait.... What is that sound?' I looked over and heard the sound of running footsteps. I slowly got up and got ready to run again. I squinted, looking to see what was going to come out of the corner. Then....... Minho came around the corner.

I let out a breath I didn't know I had been holding. I hadn't realized my heart pounding. I put my hand over my chest.

"God, Minho! You scared the hell out of me!" I yelled, slapping the back side of his head.

"Ow!" He rubbed the bag of his head and pouted like a 3 year old. "What was that for?!"

"For scaring me!"

"Well sorry princess! I didn't know you were here! Anyway I heard you screaming earlier, so I came running to see what happened."

"Wait.... you didn't hear the maze floor cracking?! It didn't happen to you?!" He looked at me confused.

"What are you talking about?" I put my hands on my head and ran my fingers through my hair. 'Was I going crazy?!'

"Are you okay?! You look a little pale, I mean you always look pale, but... you look like you've seen a ghost." He said, stepping closer and putting a hand on my forehead, checking for a fever. I slapped his hand off me.

"What are you doing?! I'm fine!" I exclaimed. I did feel kinda dizzy, but that was normal when you've been scared or something happened, (like the maze floor opening). My mouth was so dry, it hurt. Even though I had just stopped and took a break, I was still Beyond tired. Minho must have noticed, because he took out his water bottle and gave it to me. I thanked him and chugged it down. It was a little lower than half.

"Where's your water?" He asked.

"I lost it when I was running for my life." I said, finishing his water.

"Tell me what happened." I demanded. I sighed and told him everything, well except, the note. I was still shaken by the note and I didn't think it was necessary, to add. When I was done, Minho looked at me like I was a crazy person.

"Luna... I just ran through your section and... it was all normal."

"Minho, I'm not crazy! I swear! The floor was falling apart! And... an-" he cut me off by putting his hands on my shoulders.

"It wasn't real, okay? Forgot about it. It was nothing." He told me. 'Maybe, I am crazy...' I felt tears in my eyes, but I held them back. I turned around and grabbed my bag and things.

"Let's go. We need to make it back before the doors close." I said, emotionlessly. Before, Minho could say anything else I ran. I could hear Minho behind me.

I can't believe he didn't believe me... He practically just called me crazy! 'I know what I saw and nobody could tell me any different.'

I'll prove him wrong. Nick will believe me.

"Are you sure your okay?" Nick asked, when I finished my story. I rolled my eyes.

"Yes! Look, I know what I saw!" I yelled at him. I couldn't believe it! He didn't believe me either. I looked over at Newt for help, but he wouldn't even look at me.

"Wow." I muttered.

"Look, I'm sorry, but there is no evidence, to prove, what you saw was real!" He said.

"Since when do we go one evidence?! We have to go on trust! Not evidence!" I exclaimed, clearly agitated. Nick just crossed his arms. I looked around at Alby, Newt, and Minho. None of them would look at me.

"Okay... I see how it is..." I said, my voice quivering. I turned and walked away, tears stinging my eyes.

When I walked out of homestead, the air was cold and windy. My hair blew everywhere. I felt tears string down my face. A few gladers would try to talk to me and touch me, but I would ignore and shove them off. The tears were warm and slowly going down my face. I was hurt... people I trusted didn't even trust me...

I was so lost in my thoughts I didn't even know I had bumped into someone and it sent me to the ground. I landed with a thud.

"Sorry..." I muttered as I helped myself up. I didn't even look up. I looked around at where I was at. I was in the woods.... wait, who would be out here? I slowly looked up realizing that nobody was supposed to come out here. I started to panic when I looked in front of me. It was.... my father.

"Dad?"

"I'm sorry about this, kiddo." He said, then something hit the back of my head and I blacked out.
