CAT'S POV:
The next morning I wake up to the sound of the door bell ringing. I hear Jake open it and say,
"Oh, hay, mom and dad back so soon?" and laugh with his parents. I love his laugh. I quickly change into a purple dress, black flats and put on some natural make-up. I slowly go downstairs , nervous to meet Jake's parents.
JAKE'S POV:
Holy Crap, well that was unexpected. How could this happen , I am so unprepared for this I must have miscounted the days! I look towards the stairs, to see Cat coming down them more dressed up then usual she must have heard my parents. I then say,
"Mom, dad I need to tell you something, Cat come down here."
I can see by the shocked expression on Cat's face that she didn't expect that and I can see that my parents hold the same expression.
CAT'S POV:
Okay, quite sudden but okay. So I go down stairs almost falling and walk up to Jake and his parents. I say, " Hello, Mr and Mrs Reed, I'm Caitlin Springs but you can call me Cat. His parents look a little shocked but they introduce themselves, his father says,
" Hello, my name is Bruce and this is my wife Michelle and you know my son Jake."
He stares at me wanting me to say something so I tell him my sad,horrible story and I can see they don't believe me until Jake adds that Drake came to the house and caused trouble and then they believe my story. HIs parents say they understand and will have to talk to Jake in private. OH GREAT!
JAKE'S POV:
Okay, so far so good besides me having to talk my parents alone, LOVELY! Now I am sitting at the dinning room table and we are silent and are not even looking at each other. Outside the window, I can see Cat has taken off her shoes and is running around with my dogs. Jumping and swaying in the wind, so free, wish I was her right now.
My dad obviously see me staring at Cat and asks, "You really like her, don't you?"
" I love her dad and that's why she needs to stay so I can protect her from her 'dad' and Drake."
"Well you see..." My dad says with his arms on the table ready to tell me bad news but my mom cuts in and says,
"Bruce, I think we should let her stay she needs our help and she doesn't care about money or fame from what I've heard. Bruce please let Cat stay." Right now I am just thing go mom but she probably would just enjoy another girl in the house.
My dad looks at Cat outside and says, " Why not, sure , she can stay." and smiles while I return the gesture.
