Chapter 4: Jake's Friends

CAT’S POV:

It is 10:30am, I didn’t know I slept in so late, I hear noises downstairs. So I get up to change just in case it’s Jake’s parents. He hasn’t told me when his parents are coming back.

So I put on the best dress I packed because my injuries are healing up quite nicely and go downstairs.

When I reach where Jake is there are two other boys there.

I ask Jake, “Who are these two?”

“They’re my friends Ross and Pete.”

Ross was quite a good looking boy but not as handsome as Jake while Pete was nothing to look at.

I calmly sit next to Jake and see they are playing Call Of Duty, I love that game. I ask them if I could play and they ask If I know how to. So I took the controller and won most of the matches.

After we finished playing I had the giggles. I must have passed it on because Jake is bursting in giggles. I must have passed it on because Jake is bursting in giggles, his friends just stare at us as if we are crazy, and I just felt like kissing Jake again.

I hope Jake is impressed by my playstation skills and not thinking it is weird.

After the playstation session, I make us some sandwiches and Jake pours some cooldrink for everyone. That cooldrink and sandwich taste really good, I try to eat more civilised but I am so tempted to start a FOOD FIGHT!!!

JAKE’S POV:

If I was older I swear I would marry Cat. She is beautiful, can kick-ass in Call Of Duty and can make a really good sandwich. I just hope that I didn’t mess it up yesterday with that um… kiss.

Cat was having fun today but it just felt weird. I love her laugh. That little snort is just too adorable. And that dress Cat is wearing was so beautiful on her. But not sexy, just naturally beautiful which I love even more.

Before Cat came downstairs, Ross, Pete and I were talking about Cat. I didn’t tell them about the kiss but I did say I really like her (to me maybe love her) and how I am I going to explain it to my parents.

Pete says I have this time make it count while Ross says he’s happy for me but it might not be a good idea to let Cat stay here.

We start talking about it again when Cat left to go to her room. I fight for her but still see sense in what Ross is saying but I won’t kick Cat out I really like (love) her and she has also been through enough as well but mostly I really like her and the personality she has is the best ever.

CAT’S POV:

Oh My Word! Jake is going to kick me out and then my dad will find me because I might just crawl right back to my dad.

I thought the feelings between Jake and I was more but I guess he just wanted a kiss from a pathetic girl because it would be so easy.

Well, I guess Jake got what hew wanted so I am going to pack my clothes and get ready to leave; he will probably kick me out when his friends leave.

I hear movement downstairs and it seems that Ross and Pete are leaving.

A moment later Jake knocks on the door and asks, “Are you decent?”

I giggle and reply without thinking, “Sure, why not?” (Why did I giggle, I got it bad, wait I’m angry at him.)

Jake is coming in, I try to hide my packed bag.

Jake says, “ Hey,” with such an amazing smile that I actually forget I hate him but soon it comes back to me and then Jake notices my packed bag,

“What’s that for?” Jake asks seriously.

I reply rudely, “You know what it’s for!”

“Actually, I don’t.”

“I heard you talking about kicking me out with your friends!”

“ No you miss understood, they were just saying that it might be hard for my parents to understand everything but my parents are understanding and I’m sure they won’t mind, I’ll make them understand!”

“I don’t want you to complicate your relationship with your parents, Jake, I know how that’s like, I’m going.” I say and pick up my bag and start heading to the door but Jake is too fast for me and quickly stops me and takes the bag away from me.

“I don’t want you to leave!” Jake says lovingly.

“You… don’t,” I reply shocked by his tone.

“No I don’t want you to leave, even though its only been two days, I’ve fallen for you and I love you, more than you can ever know.” He says putting a hand on my check staring into my eyes.

“I love you t…” Is as far as I could say before Jake is kissing me in one of his kisses that I have been longing for.

I feel so dizzy, feeling like I’m on another planet, but then I feel a hard surface, the wall, against my back and I am back down on earth.

At that moment Jake pulls away and I am staring into his warm, chocolaty, brown eyes and then I am the one kissing him.

Another minute passes and then Jake pulls away…again.

Then I say, “So, does this make us boyfriend and girlfriend.”

Jake chuckles and replies, “That’s funny; I was going to ask if you will be my girlfriend, so yes it does.” He says smugly so I just hug him tightly.
